My Washier Is Broken, But....
that means a NEW washier. So I go shopping on Craig's list, I know so WT, but there are so many good deals on there I just had to check. Bingo, a family that just bought these in February of 2008 was loosing there home and needed cash. They were only selling as a set so we got them both for $1000, wow I know smoking deal. They just paid $1800 for them not even a year ago and they are still under warranty too. Dad thankfully was up here fishing so he hooked them up for me since well you know, gimpy, just kidding pumpkin pie. Thanks Dad, what would I do without you.

"Spongebob"
When Ashton watches TV, really only happens in the car it is on noggin, car's the movie, or Nick (whatever the girls have on). Well he has been paying attention, because as we were surfing the channels and come across spongebob, he shouts out, "spongebob". What, did he just say what I thought he said, oh yes, for sure.

Kirsten And Kelsey's Cheer And Dance Video Clip
Cheer competition was totally freak me out awsome!! The girls had tons of fun and I was totalyy into it, it made all the hard work worth it at the end. Dad and Lisa came up to show some support, and it was nice to be there with someone. Daniel wasn't able to come due to all of his pain, he was very upset that he missed it. Great job girls, your Mama was yelling in the stands for you, I have the proof.
I Missed It, But Lala Didn't
So while I was at the cheer competition Daniel text me that Jackson rolled over. What he has almost been doing it now for about a week, and I missed it. My Mom was playing with him, and she was so excited that at least she will have been able to see one of his firsts. I have been trying to catch him on video but haven't succeeded yet. Follow up to coming.

Mini Mommy
Kirsten has given herself the name of Mini Mommy. On Monday I had to work, so someone had to take care of the baby, just change and feed him. With Daniel being hurt he is not surpose to be picking the little brick up. So I hired Kirsten for $3, good deal huh. I explained what she would need to do, make sure she gets up no later than 6:45 so that she can be ready before the boys wake up. She asked if I would get a list together so she wouldn't forget anything, so efficent, I wonder were she gets it from, I am only that way sometimes. When I called her at 7:15 that morning she says "I am ready, all I have to do is eat breakfast, I fed the baby and Ashton and changed there diapers. When I was wiping Jackson's little bottom he cried because the wipe was cold and his eyes weren't all the way awake". So sweet, she is the Mini Mommy, I am so very thankful to have Kirsten's help.
Daniel's Progress
Sweet little pumpkin pie (don't tell any of his friends that he answers to this) is doing good. Of course he is still in pain, but making progress everyday. He went to the stores yesterday for almost 6 hours and took care of some work. He wore his brace for his ribs and back comfort and a knee brace to help with the torn ligament. The last two nights have been better he actually slept, he hasn't been taking any of the pain meds just Tylenol for several reasons. However he picked up the baby this morning when I ran to take the girls to school and it sounds like it was pretty painful, oops. Please continue to pray for a good and fast recovery, we need our Daddy back, I miss jumping on him and being able to give him a real hug.
BUNCO
Years ago the only thing I knew about bunco was that a group of what I thought was old ladies that don't work get together to play this dice game. Daniel and I used to make fun of Jaime my MIL for playing, and what is funny when I got invited to be in this group I was so excited. Boy how times have changed huh, it was nice to have some adult time. I travel to Roseville to play but all the driving is worth it, plus the years of commuting makes an hour drive seem really not all that far. The whole way there I was weired out by how quit it was in the car, I can turn the radio up load, sing and not have to worry about what I am playing on the radio. Teresa (Donn'a SIL) hosted the first night, now let me tell you, she has 5 yes 5 kids (I can't imagine having one more, it seems crazy) and her house was clean, she made wonderful desserts including the adorable Halloween decorated cup cakes, oh and of course made her own whip cream on top of her cake, (Donna that was for you, lol). And to top it off her home is decorated in every room including the bathroom for fall/Halloween. Wow I am impressed, I try to be all together like this but some how something is always let undone. At this point everyone is lucky to have clean underwear put away in there dresser and not just folded on the coffee table. I had a lot of fun and now look forward to the third Tuesday of every month.

Game Day
Today actually went pretty much stress free, it was nice. My Mom was worried she wouldn't get to see any of the girls games, so she was excited to be able to attened one. Both the girls did a great job today, for a second I thought I might miss it when we are done next weekend, but that second passes quick.
My New Apron
I have wanted this apron for a long time, I would see it all the time when I was working in the Nugget, but never felt like I needed it. Well after cooking a lot more and recking my shirts I asked Lisa to keep an eye out for me, and finally after months of being out of stock they came in. Lisa surprised me with it last weekend, I love it, however it is not fathering to my figure, oh well, it is what it is.
Folks We Have A Cheater
So as you all can see we have the poll of "should we sell the quads?" in the top right corner of the blog. Well for days all 100% said to sell the quads. Then Ricky must have hopped on the blog and saw the poll, ever since then I realize the number keeps going up. I mention to Daniel that Ricky has voted more than once, I know it is him, no one else would be on that side. So this afternoon Ricky says to Daniel "I think the blog keeps track of who votes because it would only let me vote one time on my computer, so I had to use all the work computers to vote also. That would explain why the "absolutely not" to selling the quads is so high, that's OK, I know better. Real funny Ricky, ha ha ha, it is unenviable, they are gone, bye bye now.

Anyone Else?
The kids and I hardly ever need to go to the doctor's. However, since we have had no insurance it seems like everyone needs to. The baby has had a nasty cough for a while, Kirsten hurt her ankle at cheer leading practice, Kirsten has pink eye and the big one Daniel's accident. Anyone else, geese, when is that darn application going to be done P-R-C-E-S-S-I-N-G, get it done already.
New Pictures
Out And About
Finally
I have been counting down the days for my Mommy to get her, and today she did. It was great to hug here and see her in person and not just on the web -cam. She was of course thrilled to see the kids and especially Jackson. The last time she saw him he wasn't even a week old, she couldn't wait to get her hands on all those rolls.

Thank Goodness For Grandma Lisa
Progress
Last nite was rough, Daniel was in a lot of pain, couldn't get comfortable and didn't get to sleep until really late. It was about 3:00 when he was some what comfortable to fall asleep. Today he made good progress, he got up and sat at the couch and I fed him his lunch. He poop, it sounded like it wasn't that pleasant but the stool softeners should help for next time, and I didn't have to wipe, so I was thrilled about that , I thought for sure it was going to go down like that. I gave him another shower which he is liking for several different reasons (I thought the pain would kill the thought but nope it didn't, lol) also the hot water on his lower back is soothing. If we keep up this progress he should be able to go to work by Monday I hope, he will be doing a lot of sitting but at least he will be there. Ashton is totally weirded out with all of this, he was giving Daniel kinda like the cold shoulder, but today he loosened up a little and watched a movie with his fav, Daddy.

My Baby Is Home
It was quite a struggle to get this guy out of the sick motel. He was vomiting from all the meds they were giving him and not keeping ANYTHING down, including water. He really can't just stay in here all nice and cozy, we need to go home, and I was fighting for it. So last night I went in to the the sick motel and made a scene, I left and returned at 8:00 p.m. with all four of the kids. When I walked into the room the nurse said "I have strict orders not to let him leave unless he can hold down liquids and pain medication, and he also needs to get to the bathroom by himself". Great that won't happen fast enough I am sure. The kids and I hung out for about 15 minutes before the little guy started to brake down. I got all my stuff and little people together and told Daniel we will be waiting for you in the van, so handle your business. Well finally at 10 pm gave up, we wasn't answering the phone or my text messages, my kids were all over the van asleep, I needed to leave. I call Lisa in desperation for advice, I just really felt helpless. After my sob story she decided that she would leave Napa were she was having a work conference and drive to Oroville that night. This would allow me to stay at the hospital until all the business was handled. She arrived at 12:30 and has taken care of the kids all day. Thank you so much Lisa, you have no idea how much I appreciate your help, I so needed it.
After not taking any meds he wasn't getting sick anymore. I started to give him saltines and water, let that sit for 15 minutes and do some more. Then we got brave and got him out of bed walked to the bathroom and sat him down for a sponge bath. After that he stood up to pee, hug deal. I helped him with lunch, soup and pudding and he held it all down, groovy. But what was crazy is an hour later they brought a solid lunch and said he needed to eat that also, luckily he did, well most of it, I was so starving that I ate some. They finally discharged him after that. Daniel is resting in our bed with way better room service then he was getting at the sick motel. I am glad to have him home and close the tab at the motel. I am so thankful that he is fine and all will heel. He is still going to let me sell those quads, so I really think he gets it now.
Oh when I checked with the business office this morning we were up to $17,000. Holy Cow, I want to throw up just hearing it.

Daniel's Accident
Sunday morning I went to work, I got home about 10 o'clock. Grandma had changed her mind about staying till Monday and was ready to go home. The girls were planning on going fishing with my Dad on his boat so Daniel and I thought, "if we asked Kathy/Robert to watch the boy's we could go riding by our self's". Good idea, I dropped off the boys at there house in Oroville at 2:15, I drove over to the Clay Pit's were I was meeting Daniel. He had already been riding for a little while by the time I got there. I get all my stuff on including my new iPOD under my helmet, can't wait to try it out, however I was a little annoyed that I can't hear anything going on around me. Ricky pulls up shortly before we go out for a cruise. So we take off together, after a few minutes of riding I tell Daniel I want to take a movie of him for the blog. So he drove over to a straight away and said to film him coming towards me, OK doesn't sound REALLY CRAZY. So I stop riding and pull the camera out, I wave to start riding towards me, he really is going fast by the time he gets to me, probably about 50 mph, he ran though all of his gears. As he passes I follow him for a couple seconds with the camera, and then turn back around. I start looking around trying to see where he went and I can't find him nor can I her his bike (which is crazy loud). Then I see these two kids pointing down in a ditch by were I saw Daniel last and then they start waving me over, I just stare in disbelief. OMG, you know that feeling when you instantly feel sick because you know something is wrong, it hit my like a ton of bricks. I ride over there hop off the my quad and look down about 10 feet, and there lays my hubby. I can see the fear in his eyes and concern in his face looking up at me. I turn to the kid and ask him if he can ride back and tell the guy in the silver ford that Daniel had an accident and he needs to bring the truck out here to get him, seconds later he was gone. I slide down the side of this ditch and look at him, I don't know who is more scared me or him. For the most part I have been very sheltered of tragedy and especially with the people I love and care about. I am in total shock, all I kept thinking is I have no idea of what to do in an emergency, how will I know if he is really hurt. By this time a couple of other riders stopped to see what was going on and asked if I wanted any help and I said "I have no idea of what I am doing can you please come and help" and they did. The kids that saw Daniel wreck had came back to the crash after trying to find Ricky and said they couldn't find a silver truck but there mom who is a EMT is coming out with her truck. While we are waiting Daniel is gasping for air and complaining that he can't breath and wants to take his helmet off. I was really nervous to do that just in case something was wrong with his neck, but the man helping said if he can't breathe take it off. I took if off and saw his sad scared face even clearer, I laid his head on my lap, he looked up and said to me, "I'm so sorry Baby". What is he sorry about, long story short is we have no insurance right now and I have been worrying him and he knows now he should have listened. Finally the EMT gets there, the men helping me get Daniel up, he was in incredible pain, and everyone there is for sure that he broke some ribs. We get to the lady's truck and she asked if we wanted an ambulance to come out, Daniel says yes and I say a BIG NO!! You don't die of broken bones, I will drive him to the hospital myself. I ask those kids if they can ride the quad back to the truck for me and they said they could, so I get back on my quad and start to ride back. I notice that she stops so I pull next to her and she says that she can't go any further, it is a liability, OMG you have to be kidding. We are in all terrain, it takes a LONG time to get trucks out here and of course we are in the far corner. As we are riding back I am so scared to ride I almost don't want to, but Daniel needed help so I had too. All of a sudden I come up on a huge puddle/stream, I don't want to cross so I turn around and my quad stops. The kids stop to ask what is wrong I say I must be out of gas, I have never had this happen. While I am standing there in disbelief that this this happening I asked the other kid to go over to that hummer, it is Daniel's friend Bill that we were meeting and tell him Daniel had an accident. As I am standing there waiting, Bill gets in Daniel's truck and drives out to get him. The other kid comes back with gas, he pulls the top off and says your tank is full, it is, I don't know what is wrong, I am new at this and totally in shock, please help. So I still don't know why but they got it started just fine. They lead me around the puddle and I raced to my phone to call Ricky to have him come back out and take care of the truck and the quads. By the time Daniel finally gets there Robert and Ricky show up. Bill helps Daniel get out of the back seat of the truck and he slides into the van. Ricky stays to put quads on truck and drive the truck back to house, Robert leads me to the hospital. On the way there I ask what happened and Daniel explains," I was trying to show off for the camera, I went though all my gears, I came up on that little hill and realized that there was a large ditch, I tired to lock up all my brakes but couldn't stop in time, so I let go of the bike while I was falling". The kid that saw him said he fell in a u shape with his arms and legs kinda out and fell on his back. By talking with him I can hear how disappointed in himself he is, and how sorry he is that he didn't listen to me. We arrive at the hospital, Robert helps me get him inside. They do some cat scans and find number 5 and 6 ribs are broken and a disc in his back is cracked. As of now he is still in hospital, I am about to crazy thinking of the bill. I will be taking him home today whether they think so or not.
This video shows his break lights and seconds after that is when he crashed. You know after you do something really dumb you say "well if I would have just", well if he would have just went the other way nothing would have happen, but he didn't, darn. I am just glad that he didn't stay on the bike, he would have slammed into the wall and I think things would have been a lot worse. The picture of his back it is hard to tell but towards the middle of his back you can see the ribs protruding out a little. I just thank God he is alive and will be able to heal so I can beat the *#!* out of him once he gets better. I no longer want to ride and I will not allow girls to anymore, Daniel understands. I do believe that the quads will be getting a new owner once we get the pinks in the mail, this is not the time in our lives when we can have these types of things happen.
