Kirsten Rocks The House

Kirsten has improved just with one game behind her. She had a better attitude which made a huge difference. Next week they will be able to perform the half time dance, I can't wait. Great job sister, you looked great.

Go Kelsey

Kelsey did a great job today, however we got there at half time, no one told me the game times changed again. Oh well, she was more energized than all the other girls. Keep it up Kel's.

Cheer Saturday

Another Saturday spent at a football game, we are just walking out the door. Aren't they so cute.

Big Boy Fun

Eric is up for a visit this weekend, so they loaded the X-Box live that Daniel got for Christmas(finally). As someone that thinks video games are kinda lame, it was really funny to see how much they both liked playing the game and talking to the people on the headset. But gamesters, I think not.

G.G. Pat Meets Jackson

Grandma has been waiting to meet her new great grandson, he is everything wonderful of course. I am glad you were able to stop by and visit for a while, it was nice to see you. Love you Grandma.

Saddest Baby Face

I ran across this picture today in my computer, Grandma Lisa took it on her camera. It is so sweet and so sad at the same time. It makes me want to kiss his fat little cheeks.

A Call From LaLa

This morning LaLa called to sing Happy Birthday to Ashton, he looks into the phone to see her. I also love when you show's her stuff though the phone, "car, car", so sweet.

Happy Second Birthday Ashton

Two years ago today it was the first day of kindergarten, the first day of second grade, and a doctors appointment to check on our baby since I was overdue by 5 days. The doc checked the fluid levels and they were fine. Then we went to see how active the baby was, and he still was a rock n and rolling in there, so they sent me home. I left that appointment in tears, I was so uncomfortable, that was the summer we had weeks of over 100 degrees. So I continue with my life, later that night we have taco's for dinner at Dad and Lisa's. Grandma Jean was staying there waiting for the baby to arrive along with me Mom staying in a hotel in Vacaville. As we are eating our dinner, it starts, sharp pain in my back and I know it is go time. So I announced that it has started and of course everyone was so excited. So we pack up and all 50 of us (not really 50 but a crowd)head to Kaiser in Vallejo. About 18 hours later baby Ashton was born, just writing about it is bringing tears to my eye's. He came out kicking and screaming all 8lbs 6 oz and 23 1/2 in of him. It was a miracle, like all baby's are. A few hours later I get a call from Jaime in Arizona, she tells us that she looked at the calender and realized that Grandpa Ashton was born on August 25 also in 1917. What a complete honor to have not only Grandpa's name for our son but also the same birthday. It still raises the hair on my arm's, this clearly made all my misery worth it. Happy Birthday Mr. Ashton, we love you more than you'll ever know. xoxo

Last Minute B-Day Celebration

We had a very last minute Birthday celebration for our little guy today. We invited all the kids from the neighborhood for pinata, brownie's and ice cream. Uncle Eric, Uncle Ricky, Tyler, Hailey and Grandma Lisa came to join the fun. Grandma Pat was on her way home from a trip with a girlfriend, so she also was able to come by and see her great grandchildren. It was a fun day, Happy Birthday Ashton.

Just Becasue

This morning I had the baby sitting on the couch and Ashton hopped up next to him. Then he looked at me and said "cheese". He totally wanted me to take a picture, how cute is that. So of course I ran and got the camera and took a quick picture before he changed his mind.

Ashton's Booboo

So here is the story of Ashton's booboo. I put a new diaper on him and gave him his nite nite. He wasn't being that nice of a boy so I didn't do the normal go in and put him in the bed and turn on his music. I just put up the gate and said "go to bed", then he turned around and ran to his bed throwing a tantrum. I get to the turn in the hallway and he is screaming a little different. I turn back around and go in his room, turn on the light and he is under the chair and his chin is totally bloody and split open. So I very calmly turn around and take him to the kitchen counter and call Daniel into the kitchen. "Yeah we totally need to go to the hospital, it is open to much". We have kaiser which means a late night trip to Sacramento it is. So we get there and they actually get us right in, can you believe that. The doc decides just a little glue will do the trick. Ashton did a great job, no crying or anything, what a champ. We returned home a little after 12. In this picture I asked him to show me his booboo and he totally worked it for me. It is about an inch long, and really custy looking from the glue around it. I'm just glad the black eye is finally gone or it would like pretty bad with both.

Game Day Summary

Titans won all of there games, it must be the cheerleaders! We arrived in Oroville at 10 am for Kelsey's check in. I found a nice place along side the track in the corner with a bunch of tree's. There was a small breeze and we weren't in direct sunlight, thankfully. Kelsey did a great job, she seemed to really like all the people watching her, not that I am surprised. Kirsten felt like the heat was making her not want to try as hard, don't know about that one, but she said she liked it. It was kind of emotional watching my girls perform out on the field, I loved every minute of it. Ashton played in the dusty dirt all day, ran with poky sticks, and played with broken glass. I felt like I couldn't take my eye's off him (because of the obvious). There was some older boys (4 or 5) and he wanted to do everything they were, go figure. I spent more time watching him than the girls, but what am I to do. The baby was content most of the day, he ate a couple of times and took a few small nap. Kathy and Tasha stoped by to watch the girls for a while. Ashton lost control about 2:30 in the forth quarter so we left to go down the street to Kathy's house. I gave him and myself a well needed shower and had some early dinner. The girls swam most of the afternoon which helped them to cool down and relax. We learned somethings we need to do differently next time to make the experience a little better. I have to say overall if was a good day.

Hello Cheer

Kelsey's First Football Game

Hello Cheer, yes the voice you hear making calls is Kelsey. Each game it is a different person. Half time dance. These little girls have been practicing this for weeks. They really did a great job. W-H-I-P, Whip it, Whip it good

"The" Nana Baby Gift

With every baby we have Nana makes us "the" Nana baby gift. It includes a really cute towel with something on the hood and back . Jackson's has cowboys, how cute are they. Also she makes a personalized photo album as seen here. I tresure and love everything you make for us, thank you so much.

Arizona Package

When we came home today we found a box on the porch from Arizona. I opened up the box to find presents for Ashton's birthday. Ashton got some really cool number and letter peg puzzles, hot wheels and some really cool clothes. Yes normally clothes aren't exciting but these clothes were because they had a fire truck and a monster truck on them. In Ashton's eyes anything with a car on it is cool. Thank you for all the cool stuff Nana and Papa, we miss you. xoxo

Vacaville Again

I took another trip to Vacaville for a very important doctors appointment. I remembered it late last night and called Nicole to see if she could watch the boys. She is a very busy and tired gal but she jumped on the opportunity to watch the boys. I really appreciate the help even more since it was so last minute. Thanks for the help and we miss you guys.

10 Weeks

Can you believe it 10 weeks old already. Jackson has started sleeping 8 hours a night thank god, you start to get loopy when you are waking up every night after a while.

No Picture For This Story

Typically I post a picture with a story to go along, not this time. Tonight something happened, what your asking. Well 75% of the time the household is in control, yes are background noise is a little louder than most other houses, but what do you expect, there are six people living here. However the other 25% of the time is complete BANANA'S! Tonight was part of that 25%, I really hate these times, it makes me wonder what and the world was I thinking when I decided to have another. So let me paint the picture for you. We had back to school night tonight, which I lost my son for about 30 seconds, totally scary. After that I drove out to Gridley to get the girls from cheer practice. I was about thirty minutes early so the boys and I got out of the van to watch. He found these two little boys playing in the fenced area behind some bushes and invited himself to play. So I keep watching him, then Kirsten, and then it is time to go, and for about another 30 seconds I can't see him. I'm not totally freaked because I am by the exit already so I know he didn't make it out, and this area is totally fenced in so he couldn't escape. Then as I am running around like a crazy mom I see him behind a bush. Ashton wasn't tall enough to spot at a glance. "OMG, what is my deal", I am not feeling like a good mom right now, twice in one day("I'm tempted to use the leach I bought for emergency's"). This is why I am terrified to go anywhere by myself. So we get home, and it starts. The baby is apparently starving, so I start to feed him. Daniel was in the middle of a movie when we got there so he actually told me to go in the other room, really, fine. Then the baby isn't interested in eating just screaming (a bubble) so we work that out, but still not happy. Kirsten helps out and holds him so I can whip up the sloppy joes really quick. "OK we are fine", then Daniel realizes that he forgot to get his medicine from Target and he is all out, he had to leave, down two hands. This is when it gets good. Baby is still screaming and Kirsten decides she can't handle it anymore (OK it it's not her baby) so I tell her to put him down. Still crying, I decide we need to do emergency dinner instead, it is not ready yet, corn dogs for the three kids. Baby still screaming, then Kelsey take Ashton's plate from him, so then he is now screaming along with baby. So about 3 minutes later Kelsey realizes that she can't handle the noise and she starts crying" the noise needs to stop". And then Kirsten simply states "it is like a circus in here", and my only response is to laugh and agree with her. So as I continue to laugh so that I can remain sane for the moment, it really only lasted for about 5 minutes. We can go from 0 too though the roof in no time, I am glad that these episodes don't last long. However it take hours to recover from them. But the best part was, that by the time Daniel got home all of the kids were in bed, not fare.

A Trip To Vacaville

The baby's and I took a trip down to Vacaville this morning to pick up my new eye glasses and get a hair cut. In between the two appointment's we went over to Mrs. Cindy's house to hang out. Ashton was totally spoiled the hole time we were there and didn't take a nap. Only seconds of being in the car he was out. It was good to see you Mrs. Cindy, we miss you.

Papa Come's Up For A Visit

Papa Wayne came up for a visit and an oil change Monday night. We had some good taco's for dinner and visited the rest of the time. We are glad you could come up. What a great picture, cheese.

Thomas Underwear

I bought some big boy Thomas underwear to help with the interest in the potty. When I pulled them out of the package Ashton said "wow, caca" (everything that has to do with diapers, the bathroom and wipes is caca).

Fun In The Hose

I know it looks like we are being mean, but Ashton loves for you to spray him with the freezing hose water. He also likes to drink the water, so then you don't have to worry about him losing a cup in the backyard, works for me.

Are You Cozy?

I sent Kels in her room for a nap and found her sleeping under her desk. It was a fort from the night before when she had Makenna, her friend over, and now it is a bed. Nite nite Kels.

Rock Out Kelsey

We were hanging out last night and I saw Kels in the back of Daniel's truck with a broom stick for a microphone and a ball catcher for a guitar. What a great imagination.

On/Off

Ashton has figured out that with a stool he can turn the lights on, off, on, off. When I walk by a switch I turn them off again, and if he sees me he goes back and turns them on, great.

9 Weeks Old

Nine weeks old and the cheeks just keep getting bigger.Kirsten's friend Stephanie said the other day "it looks like he is wearing a fat suit" I couldn't have said it better

Kirsten's First Day Of Fifth Grade

Well it has happened, Kirsten's asked me not to take pictures in front of the school sign this year. She said "everyone looks at you mom", so I asked if I could get on as she walking up to the school, she said "fine". And what is crazy is that is a student in the background, at the same school as me little baby girl Kirsten, SCARY.

Kelsey's First Day Of Second Grade

After A Fun Day At The Nieghbors

The girls and I went shopping in Chico today and left Ashton next door with his friends, Rachel and Mattew. They are lucky enough to have a small jump house in there house. Needless to say Ashton was pooped after 3 hours over there, he fell asleep before I could even put him down. Nite nite Mr. Ashton.

Darn That Harley Rocker

Ashton was just walking around minding his own business and that Harley rocker jumped up and hit his eye. The purple eye is always a cool look.

So Relaxed

When have you been so relaxed that your legs just fall to the side. It must be nice to suck on a boob all day, have someone burp you, change your diaper after exploding in it and then just fall asleep whenever you want.

Who Is That?

I came out of the bedroom thinking there must have been a bear in the house, but it was just Daniel. Only seconds after starting a movie our Daddy was sound asleep. Nite nite Daddy.

Wanna Race?

Of course the big boy's needed to race on the slip n slide, every thing's always a competition with them. I had to move at the last minute so the camera didn't get wet, but who do you think won and ripped open his boo boo on his foot, Ricky!
