Riding

Yes I said riding. We went to Prairie City today, prepare for liftoff.
We stayed till the sun went down. Daniel was going really easy all day, however his back was still really hurting. Kelsey said this is her circle of Jesus, not sure what it means, but it sounded good.
This is how excited I was about going riding today. I do love to spend time with the family, but I would rather do something else, but I am the only one that feels this way so we still went.
Uncle Eric joined us for the afternoon, he took the girls out a lot since I wasn't riding.
Ashton LOVES all kinds of bikes, can't you tell.
This little junk wagon works so great at all these parks, he can load it up with all kinds of rocks trash leaves and even his snacks sometimes. He is all about being outside and acting like a little boy, go figure.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank you Dani and David for having us over, we had a great time and all the food was fantastic.
Dani and David hard at work. Daddy and Ashton waiting to eat. The girl table. Ashley and Kel's drawing some nice pictures. Daniel sleeping before we even ate. Princess Maddie talking on a gourd. Kirsten and Jessie playing on webkinz. The little people, can you believe this is the first and only shot I took. They are all smiling and looking at the camera amazing.

Pilgrim Hats

I found these little Pilgrim hats on the tip junkie blog that I like to visit. They were so cute, and yummy too. The bottom is a fudge stripe shortbread cookie with a chocolate dipped marshmallow on top with some yellow icing for the buckle. Chilled in the freezer, the kids really enjoyed them.

24 Weeks Old

I do not have a picture for this week becasue of the miscounting, sorry, but I do want to say something. With all the other kids I wanted them to hurry up and grow up, eat baby food, sit up, get there first tooth, grab for a toy, hold there own bottle. With Jackson it is different, I know this is the last time, I am trying to savior every moment with him as a baby. No need to rush, in due time he will do everything he is surpose to. Slow down little baby, you are going to fast for Mommy.

Carpet Cleaning

The neighbor was getting her carpet cleaned and I asked them to come over to quote ours. They guy came over and said he could do it now for $140 and I took up the offer. Daniel and I threw up all the stuff on the floors in like 15 minutes and we were ready. It needed to be done bad, I have never had it cleaned by a professional, only spot cleaned by me, I love clean carpet.

My Bad

So I just realized that I had my baby one week to old on the blog. Last week I posted that he was 24 weeks but really he was 23 weeks, sorry. The only reason I figured it out was I subscribe to the parents weekly growth letter and it just said this week was 24 weeks. What can I say, I have a lot on my little mind.

"Ouchee Car"

The boy's and I were riding into town and Asthon kept saying "ouchee car, oh no". It took about 3 minutes of him telling me constantly to figure out what the heck he was talking about. Poor car's, I guess all the car's on the movies really seem like real people.

My Little Tree

This is the one little tree I have in my backyard, I swear it hasn't grown at all in three years and it always looks sad. It's leaves are changing color now and I think this is the cutest it has ever looked.

Ashton Found A Friend

Ashton has a new friend, well really it is his Uncle Trevor. Trevor played with Ashton for hours, and Ashton was loving every minute of it, he kept changing it up and pulling different toys out so he didn't get board of one thing. However I have heard countless times how cool Ashton is for being such a little guy, he is like one of the guys. I won't even tell you what time he really went to bed, lets just say that was the latest he has ever stayed awake. Thanks T, Ashton will remember you for sure now when we come down.

Closet Clean Out

After the party on Saturday we went back to Dad and Lisa's house to stay the night. Lisa knows how much I love love to organize and go though stuff and get rid of things that you no longer need. So she brings up that she is in the mood to clean out her closet, now folks this woman has a lot of clothes, but I was down for the challenge. Lisa wanted to make sure you all know that she hasn't worn this stuff for a very very long time, like in the early 90's. There was some seriously funny stuff and we had a little fun with it. She donated all these wonderful garments to the Misshion Solano people in Fairfeild, so next time you are cruising down Tabor Street you may see some of these. I am glad you feel better Lisa about being able to see the wall in the closet, I had fun and love to help you out.

Isabella's 1st Birthday

Happy Birthday Isabella! Dig in baby girl! Yes I know this isn't the best picture but I like it because you can see my second Mom in the picture taking pictures. Lisa ALWAYS is the person behind the camera, if it wasn't for her I would have missed most of the girls life, on film that is. I just want to say thank you for always taking the great pictures, you rock.

Love To Snuggle Daddy

Ashton almost loves to snuggle with Daddy as much as me, especially now that the ribs are mostly healed.

Not Ice Cream, A Carrot

It is really hard being a little guy you know, your sister has what you think is a popsicle when really it is really just a full size carrot. I felt just a little bad about pulling out the camera, but it was just so funny, I swear I am not mean, just don't ask Kirsten.

Thank You SO Much Eric

As some of you know we have had this trampoline in the backyard waiting to be built since September. I got it off Craig's list for $100, great deal I thought. Anyways, it sat for a long time in the backyard waiting for someones time but it didn't happen. Then Daniel got injured which made it impossible for him to do it. So I convinced my Mom to help while she was here, and even though we got it up it was slightly twisted. The girls and Ashton have been going crazy not being able to jump on it, but then Uncle came over. He helped me get it straight and then I asked if he would test just in case someone get's hurt, and you know the whole insurance thing. It all worked fine and the kids have been jumping everyday since. Thank you so much Eric for taking the time to help me, the kids were really happy.

Uncle Eric Is Fun

My brother came up to spend some time with us, and the kids really like him around since he plays like an uncle.

E A

The girls were just messing around with the pom pom and cheering letters and this is what Ashton picked up on, "E A". Oh Daddy would be proud.

Bunco Night #2

I had a blast at bunco night at Amber's, it keeps getting more fun each time. Anyways, about this picture, it was dinner. I made it at 4:30 since I leave at 5:30 for Roseville. You would think that the least my family could do is after they are done eating to put away the left overs, yah right, way to much to ask for. I had to toss it the next moriing, darn it.

Kay's Real Pictures

Here are Kay's pictures from the photographer. Just click here, then go to portraits, then clients, and on the password put in Gardner, and enjoy the show.

Remember...

I wrote Kayla a letter about all the stuff I wanted her to remember when she left for SDSU and engraved a ring that said remember.. on it. It was things that I had learned in my own life that I would have liked someone to share with me (even if I wanted to learn the hard way). So now that she is getting married I want to share some of the things that Daniel and I have learned about being married and somethings that go along with it. Kay Kay this is for you. Remember...

  • to keep up on your blog.
  • to always kiss and hug your hubby everyday.
  • don't go to sleep mad at one another.
  • to tell the truth always no matter what.
  • not to talk bad about your hubby to make yourself feel better.
  • to be a team.
  • speak up if you have something to say.
  • don't hide anything big or small.
  • don't do everything for him or he will get used to it.
  • treat him how you want to be treated.
  • to have s_x (this wont get hard till little people come into the picture).
  • always talk before you make a large purchase, it will save you arguments later.
  • sometimes you may have to compromise.
  • having God in your marriage is the only way to go, don't be shy about it.
  • you are best friends, no girlfriend will every be more important.
  • to respect him when he tells you something bothers him and try and fix it if you can.
  • don't tell your parents all your dirty laundry, it will come back to haunt you.
  • that paying cash is so much more rewarding then credit, not to mention stress free.
  • car payments SUCK and they last a long time.
  • home cooking is better then eating out.
  • to always be respectful to his family even if they get on your nervous.
  • pull out is not a form of birth control (hint, Kirsten and Kelsey).
  • if you are not ready for kids use this stuff called "birth control", I hear it works great.
  • tell him you love him every time you feel it.
  • to give him compliments, everyone likes them.
  • don't be bossy.
  • not to nag at him or a wall will go up.
  • keep in touch with your family.
  • take lots of pictures.
  • plan for the future.
  • plan for hard times, they always happen, so be prepared.
  • to have fun.
  • to smile, it is contagious.
  • open your doors and windows when you feel blue.
  • make sure you always have health insurance.
  • respect his feelings even if you don't agree.
  • words are like a tube of toothpaste, once it comes out you can't make it go back in.
  • and after I read this to Daniel he wanted to add...
  • have more sex.
  • don't be controlling.
  • have more sex, I think that covers all of it.

When Daniel and I had our growing up period and decided to get back together we promised each other that we would NEVER no matter what give up because it gets to hard. We know we wanted to be together and we have to work threw the problems, don't give up like a lot of people do because it is easy. I will always be here NO MATTER WHAT. Anytime you need ANYTHING weither you are near or far I want you to know you can call me. I love you so much. Love Annie

An Old Sad Story

The girls and I were cooking some banana bread yesterday night and samonella came up in conversation. I then said, "Kirsten you had samonella before, remember?" really she was to young to but I thought I might ask. We had went to my Uncle's celebration of life ceremony and we were late. So by the time we ate the food had been out for quite sometime already. She had chicken and a roll, so the chicken wasn't her friend that day. Later the next day I noticed that there was blood in her stool and freaked out, we went to the doctor and hand to do stool samples (I of the most disgusting things I have ever done) and bring it back to the doc. Hours later they called and said she had samonella. This isn't the sad part, the sad part is Kirsten had this large bear with a little t0shirt that said "my grandma rides a Harley", I got it for her before she was born. As a toddler she grew to love this bear and named in her brother. She played with him, slept with him, he was her favorite toy really. She had really bad #3 when she was sick with the samonella and accidentally got it on him. The Doctor told me to really be clean with the hand washing and stuff because the poo is contaminated also. Here is when it gets sad, I told Kirsten we had to though away her brother, because he got the sick poo on him. She was devastated, and she understood as much as a two and a half year old could. She watched me walk out to the garbage can and put him in it and cried huge tears for a while. When she went back to preschool she told all the teachers "Mommy threw my brother in the garbage" they were a little confused and I had to explain later that day at pick up. Later that year when it was Christmas she wanted a new brother from Santa and he granted her that wish.

Road Rage

While I was driving three hours a day for over two years I had developed a bad case of road rage. I would do things that I would nag at Daniel for doing. After leaving Kellogg's the road rage has tamed down substantially because I am not on the road as much. However I still get so annoyed with the retards at the girls school. This woman pulled up 2 minutes before school getting out, left her car, and walked into the school, it was parked in line to pick up. She was in the school after it had been let out for almost 5 minutes. When she came back she didn't even move like she was in a hurry, no sense of urgency, she just took her time. What a lameo, then she didn't even move forward, she stayed in the same spot till her kids came out. Really, if didn't effect me but still made me angry. I may need to seek porfessional help.

Dirty Working Woman

My hands are so not feminine at all, I bite my nails, they are wrinkled, not soft, and my cuticles are gross all the time (even days after a manicure). When I got off work I looked down to see how dirty I was and they looked like man hands, the only reason they look like girl hands are because of my rings, nasty huh.

Dress Hunting

Kayla found her dress on Sunday, I have seen it but it is secret so I can not post, sorry. However I can post the girls dresses that she found on Monday afternoon, the bottom of the dress is similar to hers and the girls will have a blue sash around there waist. Kayla was nice enough to let me have a large part of the say in my dress, thank goodness since I have a different shape then most 20 year old girls. We found a really cute a-line dress that pulls your eye to the smallest part of the waist, which I need. It is blue velvet in color and will have a white sash around the waist, with a small strap. We choose silver shoes which hopefully we will find this weekend while we are in Vacaville. We had so much fun Kay and Lisa, I am glad that worked out for us to be there. Thanks Kay for being so..open to anything, I feel good about it.

That Was A Good Chocloate Chip Cookie

I took this a couple of days ago on my phone in the van. I gave Ashton a chocolate chip cookie thinking how messing can it be, well, messy that is for sure.

Mom, It Is Not Christmas Yet

So for those of you that are very observant you can see some small white lights in the background on the previous post. Is that a Christmas tree, well yes it is, it has actually been up since last weekend. Why you ask, there is a good reason I swear. Last year I decided to buy a fake tree, I was tired of buying trees that die before it is even Christmas and they are like $200 and plus, one year I put it on the porch before it was even Christmas it bothered me so much. We bought one from Sam's for $275, so I felt like it was a wise choice. However last year was a hard year for me, I was very busy at work and pregnant, and it seemed like I was comatose most of the time. We put up the tree but NEVER decorated it, well except with the stuff the kids made at Donna's. Horrible I know, but it was way to stressful to just be living life at that time so it what not going to happen. Anyways, the bad thing about fake trees is you have to store them for 11 months. This darn tree has been in my way all year long. So as I was cleaning the garage last weekend I thought, what the heck it is only a couple weeks away of me putting this up anyways, it is going in. Maybe I will have a better chance of getting it all done this year, lol. I told the girls it is Christmas in Wal-Mart already why can't it be at our house too.

Just Couldn't Hang

I fed the little man and changed his diaper and was getting his pj's. When I realized he was still on the floor he was nite-nite already. Sorry buddy, Mommy is easily side tracked, you will get to bed sometime tonight I promise.

Gross, Who's Butt Is That?

Don't be alarmed, this isn't really a butt, I several months ago was messing around with the camera and the kids and showed them how your leg can look like a butt crack. As I am downloading some other pictures I see this on my camera, it was taken while I was working this morning. This photo even shows the hair which makes it very real looking, I almost thought it was Daniel messing around, but it was Kirsten. Silly girl, that is my daughter for you.

Say AHHH :0

After several weeks of practicing eating solid foods Jackson finally knows to open his mouth when the spoon is getting close. Sweet potatoes here we come.

$2.09..

the price of unleaded gas right now. Amen!! It only cost $40 to fill my tank, I hope it stays this way. I have only been filling up my tank every 10 to 12 days lately, maybe I can squeeze an trip to Vacaville in. The things that excite a stay at home mom, pretty lame huh.

You Scream Like A Girl

oh my baby pie, you scream like a girl.

Ashton's Song

I would love to say I have a video for this post but I can't always capture the moment. Daniel and I ever since high school do this thing were we make a song or jingle for what ever is going on at the moment. We have made songs about, pumpkins, milk, poop, farts anything that is happening. Kirsten and Kelsey have surprised a time or two with whipping out some crazy song, and now Ashton has a caught onto a silly little talent. The other night he was holding one of his cars and starts to sway back and fourth saying, "cool cars, cool cars, cool cars", he has rhythm, he held the beat and then started to clap to it and say "cool cars, cool cars, cool cars". I look at Kirsten in disbelief that he is even able to do this on his own and we start laughing. So "cool cars" is one of our songs now.

Kay And Mike Pic's

So they had some engagement pictures taken, however these are from Lisa's and a family friends film. Kayla the true beauty she is dosn't normally wear make up, so she was a little displeased with all the make up the artist put on. I think it looks great for the theme of the photo's. Kayla you are fierce sister!
