Papa And Grandma Lisa Come Up

Dad and Lisa came up on Saturday morning to visit and do some TO DO LIST stuff. For my birthday Dad did some stuff on The List, like install curtain rods, fix some blinds that were installed incorrectly, rehang little vacuum, move bunk beds to different room, and hang new white board, all kinds of stuff. Lisa help figure out a way that all the furniture worked in the living room, and got to visit with me and kids, it was great. Thank you both for coming up, even though we were sick, I enjoyed your company and all the help with the house, thanks.

Jackson's Happenings

Jackson has a new toofie, this is number 3. It is on the bottom right side, weird huh. He has been feeling it ever since it came in yesterday, as seen below.
AND he is starting to rock and roll, yes folks on his hands and knees, so the funky crawler wont be around for long.

37 Weeks Old

Little Jack is by far the only baby that is really holding onto being the baby. He doesn't hold his own bottle, he prefers you to feed him the puffs (his hands are so sweaty and fat they never make it in), and he is a big Mama's boy. But this works for me since he is really the last baby, but don't tell him I said that.

Ashton's Dentist Appointment

As you all will remember Ashton had a little fall back in December on Christmas Day, that resulted in his teeth being all jacked up. So we got into the dentist, apparently no hurry for them.

Here Ashton is playing in the cool waiting room.

He couldn't wait to sit in the cool chair, and to the staff's surprise he stayed there the whole visit. While she is checking him out she notices all the other scars and boo boo he has on his face and head and says, "Wow he is all boy isn't he?". How did you guess, totally. He did an awesome job, and even without a nap, I know bad Mommy, but we made it, thankfully. So as soon as we got the truck moving he was gone. At his visit they gave him a fluoride treatment and a little goody bag with a new tooth brush and even a infant brush for the lil baby at home, thanks.

My 28th Birthday

Yep I am now 28 years old, and it doesn't feel any different then 27. My Mommy was here to make me a South Dakota dinner, a little different that is for sure. She also made me a cake, it felt like I was a kid again, for the split second that I made a wish.
Everyone minus 1, Daniel had to take the picture. Yummy carbohydrates, green beans coated in brown sugar, snicker doodle salad (apples, snickers, vanilla pudding and cool whip), and rice crispy treat chicken. Crazy I know, but it was good.
The poor baby had sweet potato's, chicken and rice, sorry baby.
Ashton wasn't feeling very good so he just slept threw my party :(
Uncle Eric loves to pinch cheeks, but how could you resist these.
This is what I look like at 28, any different? The girls picked these out for me when they went to the store with my mom, so pretty.
Thank you so much Mommy for making my birthday special and for Eric coming even though we are all sick. I love you both.

Unexpected Gifts

Don't you just love when you get something in the mail that is unexpected? I heard someone knocking at the door and it was someone giving me flowers, aw, from my Mommy. Then I check the mailbox to find a sweet card from my lil sis over in the NC. How sweet, I love days like this.

We Have Moved

Times are getting ruff so we have decided to move to a rent free place that already is furnished so we don't have to move our stuff, we can just sell it for spending money.
Our new place has a get up Daniel really liked, I know totally hot, I am SO lucky.
Mikes hard Lemonade. A ninja outfit. Some half grey guy is going to be our room mate and he asked us to do really weird things, like for me to fart on his face, it was a bad one too.
He also asked Daniel to lick his face in the bed, not sure why.
Then the half grey guy asked Daniel what he wanted him to do, oh dear, this is a family blog.
Jackson even found some stuff he really liked.
After all the hard lemonade Daniel wanted to conquer our new bed.
We can even sell some of the stuff already there that we don't like for some extra cash.
It is fully stocked with personal hygiene products, so we can save more money, yes!
And the bed is great, it is like the most expensive mattress at the store kind of bed, so comfy Daniel couldn't stay awake.
Neither could I.
But after my nap I really wanted to see how high I could jump on this really nice mattress, pretty high I thought.
Our new address is
724 Grandma Lisa's House
Kay Kay's Room, Ca 4460270
just in case you wanted to send anything.

36 Weeks Old

OMG, Jackson is into everything!! That is all I have to say.

Oh Turds

Yep this is a turd, and turd tracks. Ashton thought it would be a good idea to take his diapee off in MY closet and push out a turd on the floor and then used the carpet to wipe it off his feet. So of course we had to complete the story with a picture for the full visual. Some days my days for filled with $@&%, boy I can't wait till everyone uses the potty, and that means you too Daniel.

Bunco #5

I missed it... my Bunco Night!! I am pretty sad about it, this is something I look forword to every month. Due to all the sick people (Daniel, Kirsten, and Ashton) here at he house I decided it wouldn't be that great of an idea to leave, so I didn't :(

Uncle Trevor Is Like Fun Dip

By the looks of this picture I am sure Trevor wasn't having fun.
Ashton ALWAYS has fun in Uncle Trevor's room.

A Quick Visit With Buddy

35 Weeks Old

Well this isn't crawling, however he is still moving, this is exciting and NOT exciting at the same time, I am sure you can guess why.

Story Time At The Library

One of the items on the calender for YCFM was to go to the library for story time. It was so cool, this wonderful lady named Wendy was the story teller, she does a great job with the kids. Ashton was the only kid standing up, he wasn't interested in the stories till the end, he just wanted to get all up in everyone's grill to check them out. But after a few times I am sure he will get better. So after story time Ashton did the craft, which was cute, he said "all done Mommy" and handed it to me when he was satisfied with his work. Then I got myself a Sutter County Library card (I haven't had a library card in years), checked out two books, Naked Baby and Sheep Sleeps. While I was doing this Ashton was acting like he was on the computer like all the other kids. We had a good time, and I hope to go back every Wednesday, and the best part it is a free service for Sutter residents, woo hoo!!
Ashton thinking he is a big boy at he computer center.
Jackson just enjoying being in a different place rather then home. Ashtons little craft he maid at the library.

M.I.M Valentine's Party

The boys and I attented the Valentines party and had a great time. This was the little craft that was offered to make, I gave it to Daniel to hang on the filing cabinet at the office. I would say I connected with some of the Mom's and could see myself being part of this group. Erin let me back in the group. I like this group because they offer alot of playdates on different days and different times so we might have a chance of making them.

Crack For Kids

This candy right here is the most horrible candy EVER!!!!
I normally don't give the kids candy and especially fundip, it is like flavored sugar but 20 times more intense. So we went to the Penny Candy Store with Papa Wayne and this is what Ashton picked when we got home for his one piece of candy. I must have thought it wasn't going to do anything, the girls have eaten it and it doesn't do anything to them, so it should be a problem right. Well you can see were this post is going, not anywhere good. To make a long story short, lots of violence, disobedience, hitting, yelling, running in circles, and late bed time like around 11:30. I will NEVER NEVER NEVER give this drug to my child, and this is your warning if you ever are baby sitting him, I will not feel sorry for you, this is the final warning.

"Who Is On The Phone?"

Sunday afternoon rolls around and Daniel picks up the phone and the voice asked for me, "who is it" I say, "Erin from the Mom's In Motion Group". Oh dear, I am thinking maybe I shouldn't have been so blunt, cause now I have to speak to this women.
To sum up the call Erin gave me a sincere apology followed which an explanation of how this happened. The group is new to the Meet Up scene and she doesn't check it as often as she should, so she didn't see that I had RSVP for it, so she didn't know to look for me. She also said the same thing happened to her at her first Mom's play date, so she knew how it isto feel so intimidated. She also said I noticed you changed your RSVP for the valentines party, I would like you to come and see how are group really is. We are a great group of women. So with this all being said I apologised for the harsh review and said we would be glad to try it again.

Mom's In Motion Gone Bad

Mom's In Motion is the other mom's group I wanted to check out. I had tried to go to a couple of the play dates before the meet and greet but someone always got sick which meant no play date, ugh. Anyways on Friday morning at 10 in the Mc Donald's play yard was a play date, so the boys and I rushed out of the house to get there on time. We were there at 9:50 so that I could pancakes for Ashton which he loves. I started to feed the baby his breakfast, Ashton is eating, 10:15 rolls around and finally someone shows up. Then a couple more trickle in, so it is about 10:30 now and no one as approached me. Now some may have gone over to the small circle of women but me, I was a little intimidated by the situation. Not only that but the organizer knew I was coming, I had RSVP on the meet up site, my profile has my picture and everything. The organizer doesn't have a picture of herself so I didn't know who she was, just a picture of her baby twin girls. So at about 10:40 after talking to Daniel and explaining what was happening I decided to get up and leave. Right before I left I called Teresa who is the organizer of the other group I am in and told her what was going down. She said to just come and play at her house for a while. So we walked out and went to play at Jake's, we had fun. I went home and sent in my rate your play date email, and let me tell you I was very honest and expressed what I was feeling very clear, so there was zero confusion. I later that day pulled myself off that groups roster.

Learning To Communicate

Ashton learns at least 4 new words a day. He is constantly coming out with new stuff or building on stuff that he already knows. Here are some adorable examples, dirty, he knows what content to use it. He will be holding up his night night and say "dirty", smell it, make a face and then say "wash Mommy, k?". He always firms up what he was saying with a "k", he will say k as many times as it takes until you say yes or no. If you say no, he then will say "why", in the sweetest hard to say no to him voice. Then he will tell you "come on" and lead you to his room where you will find his shoes to go "oside". And if he is feeling hungry he will say "hot dog make Mommy", he LOVES hot dogs of any kind. When we are getting in the car and I say "who spilled cereal all over" he will answer "sissy did that", or who gave you juice "Daddy did that". When he is locked out of a room he will stand at the gate and say "get out", "nuggle Daddy". While driving in our wee gross town we will come to the one stop light and he will see me turning either left or going straight, he will point right and say "no that way" towards Yuba City. I am so entertained and amazed with what he puts together, I like this part of the two's.

Happy Birthday Lala

Dearest Mommy, I am writing this letter because I am not as organized as I would like to be and didn't send a card soon enough. However, I wanted to make sure you know how special you are to me on your birthday. First I would like to say that I wish I was there to celebrate your fifty third birthday with you, however I know that you are surrounded by people that adore and love you, and that makes me feel better. You have so many talents and qualities that I can only hope to have as I keep getting older. First of all you are the BEST hosttess I have ever seen, no one can even get close to compare. I hold myself to a very high standard trying to be like you, and someday with practice I hope I can. You are the best cook I know, every where I go you are the standard that I compare too. You are a strong woman, you know what you deserve and will fight to make sure you get it. I mean you are married to the most stubborn man I know, and you don't back down if it is something you believe in, and I respect you for that. You have instilled in my a honesty that surprise people in my life. I can not tell a lie not even a small one, so even if I get in trouble or hurt someones feelings I will tell the truth. If you don't tell the whole story it is a lie, I remember you saying that, I feel like this is one of my best qualities that you have instilled in me. You have love me unconditionally, I have disappointed you and hurt you, yet you still love me, and more and more as time goes on. Over the years of my adult life you have become my best friend (and I only have 3). I know that you will always say what is on your mind no matter if I don't want to hear it, because you truly care about me and my family. I can celebrate happiness with you and know that you genuinely feel the same as me. When I am sad, you feel my sadness, only people that truly love one another can do this. You have put a roof over my family's head when I couldn't, you have fed my family when i couldn't, you have provided material things that I couldn't. You are the best grandparent to my kids, yet you are the furthest away. Today I want you to feel good, you have done an awesome job as a Mommy, La-la, mother in law and wife. I love you SO much. I can't wait till I can join you and Lana in all your adventures in South Dakota. Happy Birthday Mommy. P.S. Thank you Lana for doing this for me. And you are lucky to hang with such a wonderful woman all the time, I'm jealous.

34 Weeks Old

Jackson today expressed that he doesn't like being told no. He was trying to pull my necklace and I kept pulling his hand away and saying "no buddy". Then at that point he started to cry a little whining spoiled brat cry, like that was going to change my mind. Please baby Jack Mommy is was more hard core then that.

Was Your Room Clean As A Kid?

Ok so, the girls room is NEVER clean more then a couple of hours, it drives me banan's. I don't remember what my room was like as a kid most of the time, I do remember having to clean up some gross stuff every now and then though. Was your room clean as a kid?

Update On Lil Jack

Still snotty (you can see it in the picture) but so much happier. Jackson ate solid food last night, which he hasn't wanted to eat solids for about 5 days. He then went to sleep on his on in the port-a-crib, and slept threw the night!!! I so needed that, let me tell you, I don't do well with having to wake up every hour 5 days in a row. Then this morning he went down for a nap in his crib which he hasn't even laid in for a week and fell asleep for his nap. He still has a rattly cough and lots of buggies but Doc stays that will hang around for a couple of months. So glad you came back baby Jack.

This Is Why Eric Can't Sleep At Our House

I will say it isn't always like this thank goodness, however is does always seem to happen when Eric sleeps over. He must love us because he keeps comeing back.
