Happy Birthday Kelsey!!

Our little Kelsey, is turning 8. I love how she is so happy about everything, so passionate about anything and ALWAYS has shared, even when she was a wee little girl.
Kelsey I love you SO much, I am glad you are my daughter because you are great.
P.S. I didn't have a digital camera when Kels was a baby and my scanner doesn't work, apparently. So this is as far as I can date back. She is so cute isn't she, so pinchy to.

Kelsey's Birthday Sleepover

The girls don't get to have birthday party's every year, so it is pretty exciting when it is a year that we can, Kelsey was so stoked about it all week.
After eating some pizza the first thing she wanted to do was presents, are you surprised.
After that all the girls ran around the house (I don't know how I held my cool for so long but I did) for what seemed like forever.
Then we decorated the cupcakes that Lexi and Ashley help me make. (This is something I have a hard time with, so I am patting myself on the back for this)
We sang Happy Birthday of course and then ate the overly decorated cupcakes.
Then around 11pm we started a movie and I waited for everyone to fall asleep, it finally happened around 12:45!!! All in all it was a great night. I am glad I let go a little so everyone could have some more fun then if I was all uptight. Thank you to the family members for bringing your children to Kelsey's party, I know it is a lot of work.

"Fixed"

She will never be a Mom, sorry Jesse, it is just better for everyone this way.
Poor Jesse had to come home to a house full of little girls screaming on the day of being spayed, sorry girl. She did a great job staying out of the way though since she just wanted to rest.

50 Weeks Old

Oh Jack. He doesn't like to be confined to anything anymore, the walker, the saucer, someones lap, and sometimes even my arms. He is a big boy now that can get around on his own, if it is on the scratchy grass, or hard rough pavement, nothing can stop him, so let me go already. "Mommy you thought you were tired now, just wait till I can move quicker, you will have to watch me constantly, he he, it has just begun."

In This House...

we didn't have terrible two's, but we ARE having terrible three's.

Humm?

Q-tips, rocks in the sink, and detangler. I wonder what she was trying to do. Kelsey and rocks go and in hand, and pocket and dryer (that was suppose to be a funny).

I'm Just Glad...

that long distance is free on cell phones. I don't know how I might survive without talking to my Mom 500 times a day.

"I Want To Go Potty"

I was in a frantic rush to get out of the house on Monday (going up to Grandma Kathy's for the holiday), Jack is crying, dog is in every ones face, diaper bag contents everywhere from camping trip, and Ashton says "I want to go potty". "On the potty chair?" I say, "yes", well totally not the time I would have pick to it, but I am ready for him to use the potty, so whatever. I sit him down and close the door almost all the way, he then gets up and closes it all the way. He pushes out some pee and the potty chair plays a rewarding song!!! I was in the hallway and came running in the door trying to make it a huge deal, candy and all. I think when he had the idea he was going pee right then in his diaper, but he felt it coming, and we know that is the important part, to know the feeling. He then again did it last night but went way more, it was the real deal that time, exciting huh.
That is the pee-pee.

As you know...

I am behind on my blogs. So after I get the house together then I can catch up on the blog. Thanks for the understanding :)

I Love A Silly Boy

Drop In Camping With Stathams

The original plan was to go camping with the Statham's, but after the huge cost that came with our new dog and not knowing how she was going to be feeling we cancelled reservations. I have a hard time spending money after large unexpected expenses, yes it is cheaper then a vacation, but still cost money. Anyways the Statham's still went, and we came up to visit after I got off work. Saturday was hard, the dog was not as good as I thought she would be, lots of whining, like we need that with eight kids on the campsite right. Sunday we left her at home, so it was a little more relaxing the second day. These are some snap shots I got.
Jack taking a very much needed nap, it only lasted about 20 minutes
Baby's suck there thumbs when they are really dirty and don't seem to care how it taste Jesse taking a nap, thank you Jesus
The girls having a refreshing juice bar
The great Auntie Dani, the world needs more Mom's like her
Some dirty boys having a good time
relaxing (kinda)
Jim and the truck
Maddi and Jack playing (she is a baby lover just like her Mama)
Dave cooking and Daniel pretending to cook (it was good too)
Jack REALLY loves to eat rocks, constantly
We had a great time, glad we could still make it up. Thank you Dani for being so awesome.

Ashton The Stud

We cant forget to see Ashton's fresh new haircut, he is a true stud, it all comes so naturally.
Before

After

What is funny is while I was blogging the last post Ashton is playing behind me and notices that I posted the hair cut pictres and obvisouly remembers me taking one of him and says "not fair, where is Atin's picture of hair cut ?"

49 Weeks Old

It was really unplanned I tell you (which means no pictures) but Jack got his first hair cut!!!!
Before
After
This is how is went down, I was taking Ashton in for his very much needed hair cut ( Salon Mama got shut down due to lack of talent), and while I was there thought I should ask him if he can do anything with Jacks hair. So I did, a little scared he make a scene being that it was nap time and lunch was just around the corner, but it was worth a try. He first said he "I will just trim it up, and while Jack was doing that he sat so good in the chair by himself that he said, "I am just going to continue since he is doing so good", and he did. He had a complete hair cut sideburns trimmed and everything this week. He looks so grown up, like he is 14 months old or something, lol.
Good Job Jack, I hope that it continues to be that easy.

The Price You Pay With No TV

This is simply a funny little story. We don't have cable anymore for two reasons so with that the TV really is hardly ever on, which means no news, and apparently non informed. I didn't know that the price of stamps were going up, so I stick my LATE mothers day cards in the mail Monday morning along with Eric's unemployment slip and the mortgage and I think nothing of it. Well I don't stop by the mail box that often only because most of my bills I get online or they all come at once (like now). So to my surprise when I got the mail a week later there are the cards, and the mortgage. Really!! $100 LATE FEE all because of $.02, really? Of course the cards where there to, I was wondering why I hadn't heard anything yet, but the best part was that Eric's unemployment slip squeak thu somehow, ugh.
Luckily my Lender Mr.Staham waved the late fee this month since I called and told him my sob story, but just this once (and I totally believe it).

Secert Sister Reveal

The Mom's group was having a breakfast on Saturday morning to reveal who the secret sisters were, but I had to work. So my sister delivered my last gift to the house,

A Chef herb garden!!
Cute huh. I can't wait to see how it does, I will let you know.

Who's 31 ?!?!?!

That's right, my Eric-e-bo. He is by far the closet to retarded as I am and I wouldn't want it any other way. He is a free spirit, well right now at least, but he is making the most of it, and I admire him for it.
Happy 31st Birthday Brother
You are so dear to this family

48 Weeks Old

So Lil Jack is progressing in his standing ability. Just last night he stood without holding on ( I don't have a picture yet so this will have to do) !! It was really exciting so I yelled out "look at you Buddy" and it scared him then he fell. We just opened our last can of formula, and I will be so excited when we can just give him the thick milk (vitamin D) and get rid of all the ba ba's. I am trying to transition him to table food, but sometimes it is so much easier to feed the jar food, much more convenient. But after our stock is gone that is it, no more baby food!

Jesse Update

So I just realized I didn't update what ever became of Jesse's kennel cough. So we took her to the vet last Thursday morning worried since she hadn't ate or drank anything for almost 2 days. Wednesday night she had a really high fever, I couldn't even get her to move, it was so sad. As reluctant as I was about spending money on the vet's I knew we had to go. So I went to work Thursday morning and Daniel ended up being able to get her an appointment, so we took her in to find out, she had an upper respiratory infection. Really, so they give her a shoot of super antibiotics, give her an IV to get some fluids in her (this was so not fun), and sent us home. Well the next day Jesse pooped this really weird poop that had me concerned, so we went back to the vet with the poop of course. At that time, they gave her tons of test and gave her another shot of super antibiotics and gave her a new antibiotic to give her at home since the other one didn't seem to be helping her at all. They also gave her an appetite pill, to make her hungry so that she might eat. I get her home that day and she finally eats, finally (I was even making her chicken and rice, for the dog remind you) and drinks a whole bunch. Thank you Jesus, I was really started to get worried. The vet called on Friday morning to check on her and tell me all the results of her tests came back negative, except for distemper. Now she was just vaccinated for this not even a week ago, so he thinks this is why the test is showing positive, well lets hope. After reading up on distemper, it doesn't sound good. So now that we have $1000 into this dog, yes one thousand dollars and that doesn't include the vacuum we had to get I just hope she makes it out of all this.
As of this Wednesday she is eating and drinking without any reminder, no poop yet, not sure why, but I know it will come eventually (glad that isn't my job). As she feels better day by day, she gets into more trouble, which is a good sign I guess.

Jesse Has Left Her Mark

Holes in the screen.
A flat tire on the Lighting McQueen slipper.
A wooden nail to the work bench seems to be a little different then the rest. She has trotted out with my dansko's on several occasions, Jesse is like having another baby, only she leaves her poop outside in a pile instead of the diaper, I don't know which is better. I am thinking of getting a Donna gate (a gate that has a small door built into it and you open it with our foot, so even Ashton would be able to open it, and it is high) at the playroom entrance just because it is hard to tell the 11 month old baby and almost 3 year old to have all the toys picked up just in case the dog gets it, gate=sanity.

Ashton Learns To Swing By Himself

As we are playing in the backyard I turn around and see Ashton doing this. He totally was swinging by himself, very exciting.
So I asked him if he could show me again how he did it.
Step 1 Step 2 Just like that swinging :)
