The New Sitter

This is Amy and her kids, Max 8, Grace 5 and Colton 3.
Don't worry I didn't ask her to pose just for my blog, I took this from her blog with permission.
I told Amy how appreciative I am of pictures, so she has been clipping a few shots for me while I am away at work.
The boys being snuggle buddies.
Ashton making his pizza for lunch.
Ashton loves this buzz light year costume she has.
The boys also love the Piston Cup race track from Car's the movie.
This is a creation that Ashton and Gracie made together. I am so happy that we found a loving, patient, sweet, honest, caring and nurturing women to take care of my boys while I am away.

Kirsten's First Day Of School 2009

As most of you know Kirsten started a new school this year. We are being blessed with her tuition being payed, I feel so very excited as this is a new beginning for her (more details in a different post). I missed Kirsten's first day of school also :(. Daniel was able to take her, and he too only took one picture :(. She was very sad to not be with her friends, but excited about her new start. Daniel was over whelmed with emotion when he dropped her off and called me crying, we are so excited it is hard for words to describe it.

New Hair For The New Start

For years Kirsten has asked to cut her hair short and I always so no because she has my hair and it is a pain short. But since we are on this starting new thing I thought it would help her feel like she is a new person.
Before
The first cut All of her golden locks
Kirsten wanted to be turned around like on what not to wear so this was the reveal

Kelsey's First Day Of School 2009

Our little Kelsey started the third grade this year, she was very excited to go back to school. Due to the new job position I wasn't able to take her, I was very sad about it. Uncle Eric dropped her off for me, and I will just say, it isn't the same without Mommy(I think I may have been the only one that felt this way). I am thankful for the one, yes one picture he took for me, but normally I take like 30. I will survive, but mostly I was sad about missing Kelsey starting another year of school, those days only come one time a year and only for a limited number of years.

Two Weeks

Folks it has been 19 days since I last blogged, can you believe it? I haven't even picked up my camera in two weeks either. I would love to say I got something good for you, and there are a few cute story's to be told, but I am so tired I don't even have the energy to explain myself. I just hope at some point I wont be so tired. Until next time....

A Big Thanks

This is Christiana, my dear neighbor. She is a great women, she always wants to help everyone, and that is just what she did this week. Amy the lady who I found to watch the boys had a vacation planned prior to me hiring her so I needed to find someone to keep the kids this week and part of next week. Christiana has two busy children of her own but didn't hesitate when I needed help this week, she took it on with no hesitation. I was trying to get a picture of her but she wouldn't stop talking(totally Christiana) so this will have to do, she would die if she knew I was putting this on the blog, but she doesn't know what a "blog "is anyway.
It didn't work out having little buddy (Ashton) over there so Wednesday he spent the day with Daddy at work and then the last two days Uncle Eric came to help out. Here is why it didn't work out, this was his sad face that I told him to make, to make it seem more dramatic.
Thank you Christiana, you are very much appreciated,
and Uncle Eric thank you for coming in a time of need.

A Quick Visit With Mom And Jim

This was the rig Kirsten and Kelsey cruised the states in with Lala and Papa. Papa had the Nomad in the trailer, can you beleive they spent 5 days at a Nomad convention in Boise Idaho.
This Caterpillar fell out of the tree and gave the kids hours of entertainment.
Lala making a great dinner in the 1000 degree weather.
Kirsten and camera shy Nemo.
Jim had reservations for me and the kids to stay in the Hotel across the parking lot, however I had other plans. I hate hate hate sleeping in Hotels by myself or should I say without a man. So I asked Jim in my sweet daughter voice if we could pretty please just stay in the Coach with Mom and him, and he said yes, thankfully.
It was an intimate night for sure with all seven of us in a Coach made for two people, but I slept good. Thank you Daddy for letting me stay the night in your house on wheels.

You Want Me To Go Where? Winnamucca?

This is what getting out to Winnamucca looks like.
Boring.

It is a total of 6 hours and three of it look like this.

However at the end of my drive I would get to see my girls. I was driving out in the middle of no where to meet my Mom and Jim, who had the girls for two and a half weeks.
I didn't mind driving in the Sierra's, I would do anything to live up there, it is so pretty. We stopped for lunch in Fernley, and that the baby couldn't handle himself anymore in the car seat had a little to do with it also.
I was to chicken to actually get out of the van (someone might get us) so we ate in the van just with no seat belts on.
And this was the prize at the end of the trip. Thank you so much Mom and Jim for taking the girls, they had a great time. I can only hope that they will remember all the cool things you shared with them and the memories you made.

Really...I'm Sorry

I cant even believe that I haven't blogged in eleven days, I know crazy. But I promise that when I get home tomorrow from work and the boys are down for there nap I will catch up, I have a lot to do. Trust me I don't like to get behind, because then I have to veg myself on blogger for like 3 hours getting it all caught up. So stay tuned.

Daniel's Birthday Weekend

This year Daniel decided he wanted to go camping with just me for his birthday, no kids, ok maybe he was influenced a tab bit by an outside party...me. So we went to the old faithful, Collins Lake, he has to stay close to the stores just in case, and he has to work on Saturdays so this place works great for us. Friday we got up there early evening, set up camp, had dinner, a shower and relaxed.
Saturday morning he had to leave for work, which left me all alone all day long. Note to self, bring a watch, I didn't know what time it was ALL day, I had to watch other peoples activities to know around what time it was. I forgot a pen, so I didn't get to do my beloved cross word puzzles, but I did read a whole cosmo magazine. It was to hot to nap, and I only said one sentence the whole time Daniel was gone. By the time Daniel had got there I taught it was only 3 and it was really 5:45!! I wouldn't shut up, I had to tell him what I saw when I was people watching all day.
I brought stuff for smores, however....
these taste so much better to me.
Sunday we hung out, took a good nap and relaxed till it was starting to warm up. We both were missing the boys and were ready to come home, that was around 11 am. We had a great time.
I want to say a
HUGE thank you to Dad and Lisa !!
They watched the boys for us all weekend.
Thank you so so much, we enjoyed are time alone.
I love you

G.G. Comes To Visit

I always love when G.G. (my Grandma Jean) comes and stays with us, I just wish it was longer. The boys enjoyed playing with her and she was of course so happy to finally spend time with them. G.G. was sad that she wasn't able to see the girls since they were in South Dakota, but maybe she will come back sooner to see the whole circus.

Check Him Out

Here is the video that I promised. I think that Jack has been the kid quickest to learn how to walk, it really is amazing to watch. This video was taken after he had been walking for about two weeks, he has made huge progress since this video, like learning how to stand himself up with out pulling up on anything. Here we go folks, there is no longer any sitting down while we are outside playing, lol.

Coincidence?

I think not.
I am beside myself excited, relieved, and sad all at once. The gal that is the full time merchandiser put in her two week notice today. Which means a full time opening with BENEFITS yes, like medical, dental and vision, is now open in Yuba City. Oh how I miss not having to worry about all of this, it is a huge load to carry when you have no insurance, also I must tell you this job also comes with a company car! Anyways, of course I will apply, and lets pray that I get the position. I am asking for a pay raise since I will be paying for childcare and still need the extra income, however I feel I have a good shot, and really I will take it even if there is no pay raise. Our insurance ended yesturday...coincidence...I think not.
