Good Job Self

So as you read I have been trying to get some exercise. I was thinking last night, what if I walked the girls to school, it might work, we should try it, and when I asked the girls and they were thrilled. I had to wake up at 6:45 to get dressed and freshen up in case I have to talk to someone, get Ashton ready for the world, and feed the baby. The girls were doing there thing and the plan was to leave by 7:50. We were close, we walked away from the house at 7:57. We made it to Kelsey's school at 8:07, ten minutes not bad. Then the long haul to the middle school, Kirsten was there at 8:24, school starts at 8:28, not bad. I was walking at a brisk pace, the kids shared the scooter so it wasn't that bad. I am going to try to do this until the weather doesn't allow me to do so. Ashton was enjoying the walk, he didn't talk the hole time and the baby fell asleep. I want to pat myself on the back for actually doing it and not just thinking about doing it, "good job self, I am proud". I clocked it and it was a round trip of 3 miles, nice.

Good job Andrea. I would love to walk kids to school but The boys start at 8:40 and then Alexis starts at 9:00 but her school is 5 miles from the elementary school. So I concidered after school but... the boy s get out at 3:00 and she gets out at 3:11. Not going to happen. I can barely get there in time in the car :0) So I guess I'll just do my walks around the neighborhood during school hours. I ned one of those jogger strollers.

Great job!! The walk to the elementary school would be so much easier if there was sidewalk once you get on Pennington! I always felt like I was taking the kids life in my hands when we walked.
