Game Day Without Mommy

The day started early (I woke up at 4 am ) worked a few hours and came home to get ready for game day. It also was Donna's baby shower so I really needed to have my stuff together. We made it to Lincoln just before Kel's game, our Papa Wayne and Grandma Lisa arrived shortly after. They watched Ashton and the girls for me while I went to the shower in Roseville (convenient, worked out nicely). I am so thankful for this, I really wanted to go to the shower, and seeing how much I struggle with game days it was nice to take one off. I did miss seeing the girls, Kel's did a new half time routine, but there is always next week. Ashton tested my parents all day to see if they could really handle a toddler going though a bad case of terrible two's. They made it, but were in disbelief that our sweet laid back Ashton could be so well, two. The shower was a lot of fun, and I met everyone in Live Oak after the game. Thanks you so much Dad and Lisa, I really appreciate your help this weekend, love you.

I'm so glad you and Jackson were able to make the shower. Thanks Wayne and Lisa for helping her so she could come. :)

Oh my gosh!!! Now I remember why you have babies when you are young. Annie, how do you do it???!!! That was a long day for Ashton, and he let us know that. Unfortunately some of my distraction techniques did not seem to work that well. Thank the Lord for Ants....we looked at them on the sidewalk for quite some time and motorcycles too. Ashton was quite impressed with a Harley in the parking lot and let me and those watching him know what kind of sounds it made. Sorry we left your shade structure there. We got all wrapped up in getting Ashton to the car and totally spaced. We will get you a new one. The girls did great cheering! Kirsten had a fabulous smile the whole time and she looks so mature out there. I enjoyed seeing her be shy around her crush! Kelsey is a natural at it, dancing like a pro and you could hear her above everybody else. I'm thrilled Annie got the day away and I know she had a great time at Donna's and hanging out with her special blogging pals!
