The kids and I went to the local parade in honor of all the soldiers that have fought and still fight for our country. I wanted them to know why there was no school today and realize what a special gift all the veterans have given to us as Americans. The family sitting by the curb brought tears to my eyes, I just couldn't even imagine sending my hubby away to war. It takes special people to be able to dedicated there lives to fighting for us.
