it is a surprise.
I am trying to soften in some area's of my life. So, we are getting a dog. Some reason's why you may ask, dog hair isn't going to hurt anyone, everyone in the house wants a dog, and I watched Marley and Me.
I thought about it for a few days before I said anything and then this morning I heard an advertisement on the radio for a dog at the shelter. I was interested so I had Daniel go take a peek first, then I went hours later. I got to pick since it is really going to be MY dog, I will be caring and spending the most time with it anyways.
Meet Jesse. She is a 8 month old black lab, and she is so sweet.
Her owners took her to the shelter because they couldn't give her what she needed, mostly time.
So this is my 5th kid, I said I was done, but I guess we needed one more to complete the family. We are waiting to tell the kids, it is going to be a GREAT surprise, they have been asking for years now. Daniel and I are so excited, we feel like we have really adopted a kid. So after she has her surgery and shots she will be able to come home, the bumber...not until Tuesday. Well I will try to keep quiet just for the thrill and photo opportunity when they kids find out it is our dog and she is staying.

HMMMM did us getting a cat give you that nudge you needed?!?!?! Your puppy is so beautiful. I had a black lab in high school. His name was Odis Spunkmeyer (aka Oddie. He was dumb as a rock, but the best dog ever :0)

OMG! I can't believe it and your kids I'm sure will be in complete shock. She looks so cute. Labs are so sweet and loyal, I'm sure it will be a great fit for your family. Hope she'll make it camping, we want to meet her! :) :)
