Kirsten Rocks The House

Kirsten has improved just with one game behind her. She had a better attitude which made a huge difference. Next week they will be able to perform the half time dance, I can't wait. Great job sister, you looked great.

Go Kelsey

Kelsey did a great job today, however we got there at half time, no one told me the game times changed again. Oh well, she was more energized than all the other girls. Keep it up Kel's.

Cheer Saturday

Another Saturday spent at a football game, we are just walking out the door. Aren't they so cute.

Big Boy Fun

Eric is up for a visit this weekend, so they loaded the X-Box live that Daniel got for Christmas(finally). As someone that thinks video games are kinda lame, it was really funny to see how much they both liked playing the game and talking to the people on the headset. But gamesters, I think not.

G.G. Pat Meets Jackson

Grandma has been waiting to meet her new great grandson, he is everything wonderful of course. I am glad you were able to stop by and visit for a while, it was nice to see you. Love you Grandma.

Saddest Baby Face

I ran across this picture today in my computer, Grandma Lisa took it on her camera. It is so sweet and so sad at the same time. It makes me want to kiss his fat little cheeks.

A Call From LaLa

This morning LaLa called to sing Happy Birthday to Ashton, he looks into the phone to see her. I also love when you show's her stuff though the phone, "car, car", so sweet.

Happy Second Birthday Ashton

Two years ago today it was the first day of kindergarten, the first day of second grade, and a doctors appointment to check on our baby since I was overdue by 5 days. The doc checked the fluid levels and they were fine. Then we went to see how active the baby was, and he still was a rock n and rolling in there, so they sent me home. I left that appointment in tears, I was so uncomfortable, that was the summer we had weeks of over 100 degrees. So I continue with my life, later that night we have taco's for dinner at Dad and Lisa's. Grandma Jean was staying there waiting for the baby to arrive along with me Mom staying in a hotel in Vacaville. As we are eating our dinner, it starts, sharp pain in my back and I know it is go time. So I announced that it has started and of course everyone was so excited. So we pack up and all 50 of us (not really 50 but a crowd)head to Kaiser in Vallejo. About 18 hours later baby Ashton was born, just writing about it is bringing tears to my eye's. He came out kicking and screaming all 8lbs 6 oz and 23 1/2 in of him. It was a miracle, like all baby's are. A few hours later I get a call from Jaime in Arizona, she tells us that she looked at the calender and realized that Grandpa Ashton was born on August 25 also in 1917. What a complete honor to have not only Grandpa's name for our son but also the same birthday. It still raises the hair on my arm's, this clearly made all my misery worth it. Happy Birthday Mr. Ashton, we love you more than you'll ever know. xoxo

Last Minute B-Day Celebration

We had a very last minute Birthday celebration for our little guy today. We invited all the kids from the neighborhood for pinata, brownie's and ice cream. Uncle Eric, Uncle Ricky, Tyler, Hailey and Grandma Lisa came to join the fun. Grandma Pat was on her way home from a trip with a girlfriend, so she also was able to come by and see her great grandchildren. It was a fun day, Happy Birthday Ashton.

Just Becasue

This morning I had the baby sitting on the couch and Ashton hopped up next to him. Then he looked at me and said "cheese". He totally wanted me to take a picture, how cute is that. So of course I ran and got the camera and took a quick picture before he changed his mind.

Ashton's Booboo

So here is the story of Ashton's booboo. I put a new diaper on him and gave him his nite nite. He wasn't being that nice of a boy so I didn't do the normal go in and put him in the bed and turn on his music. I just put up the gate and said "go to bed", then he turned around and ran to his bed throwing a tantrum. I get to the turn in the hallway and he is screaming a little different. I turn back around and go in his room, turn on the light and he is under the chair and his chin is totally bloody and split open. So I very calmly turn around and take him to the kitchen counter and call Daniel into the kitchen. "Yeah we totally need to go to the hospital, it is open to much". We have kaiser which means a late night trip to Sacramento it is. So we get there and they actually get us right in, can you believe that. The doc decides just a little glue will do the trick. Ashton did a great job, no crying or anything, what a champ. We returned home a little after 12. In this picture I asked him to show me his booboo and he totally worked it for me. It is about an inch long, and really custy looking from the glue around it. I'm just glad the black eye is finally gone or it would like pretty bad with both.

Game Day Summary

Titans won all of there games, it must be the cheerleaders! We arrived in Oroville at 10 am for Kelsey's check in. I found a nice place along side the track in the corner with a bunch of tree's. There was a small breeze and we weren't in direct sunlight, thankfully. Kelsey did a great job, she seemed to really like all the people watching her, not that I am surprised. Kirsten felt like the heat was making her not want to try as hard, don't know about that one, but she said she liked it. It was kind of emotional watching my girls perform out on the field, I loved every minute of it. Ashton played in the dusty dirt all day, ran with poky sticks, and played with broken glass. I felt like I couldn't take my eye's off him (because of the obvious). There was some older boys (4 or 5) and he wanted to do everything they were, go figure. I spent more time watching him than the girls, but what am I to do. The baby was content most of the day, he ate a couple of times and took a few small nap. Kathy and Tasha stoped by to watch the girls for a while. Ashton lost control about 2:30 in the forth quarter so we left to go down the street to Kathy's house. I gave him and myself a well needed shower and had some early dinner. The girls swam most of the afternoon which helped them to cool down and relax. We learned somethings we need to do differently next time to make the experience a little better. I have to say overall if was a good day.

Kirsten's First Football Game

Hello Cheer

Kelsey's First Football Game

Hello Cheer, yes the voice you hear making calls is Kelsey. Each game it is a different person. Half time dance. These little girls have been practicing this for weeks. They really did a great job. W-H-I-P, Whip it, Whip it good

"The" Nana Baby Gift

With every baby we have Nana makes us "the" Nana baby gift. It includes a really cute towel with something on the hood and back . Jackson's has cowboys, how cute are they. Also she makes a personalized photo album as seen here. I tresure and love everything you make for us, thank you so much.

Arizona Package

When we came home today we found a box on the porch from Arizona. I opened up the box to find presents for Ashton's birthday. Ashton got some really cool number and letter peg puzzles, hot wheels and some really cool clothes. Yes normally clothes aren't exciting but these clothes were because they had a fire truck and a monster truck on them. In Ashton's eyes anything with a car on it is cool. Thank you for all the cool stuff Nana and Papa, we miss you. xoxo

Vacaville Again

I took another trip to Vacaville for a very important doctors appointment. I remembered it late last night and called Nicole to see if she could watch the boys. She is a very busy and tired gal but she jumped on the opportunity to watch the boys. I really appreciate the help even more since it was so last minute. Thanks for the help and we miss you guys.
