Yep I am now 28 years old, and it doesn't feel any different then 27. My Mommy was here to make me a South Dakota dinner, a little different that is for sure. She also made me a cake, it felt like I was a kid again, for the split second that I made a wish.

We Have Moved
Times are getting ruff so we have decided to move to a rent free place that already is furnished so we don't have to move our stuff, we can just sell it for spending money.
Our new place has a get up Daniel really liked, I know totally hot, I am SO lucky.
He also asked Daniel to lick his face in the bed, not sure why.
Then the half grey guy asked Daniel what he wanted him to do, oh dear, this is a family blog.
Jackson even found some stuff he really liked.
After all the hard lemonade Daniel wanted to conquer our new bed.

Story Time At The Library
One of the items on the calender for YCFM was to go to the library for story time. It was so cool, this wonderful lady named Wendy was the story teller, she does a great job with the kids. Ashton was the only kid standing up, he wasn't interested in the stories till the end, he just wanted to get all up in everyone's grill to check them out. But after a few times I am sure he will get better. So after story time Ashton did the craft, which was cute, he said "all done Mommy" and handed it to me when he was satisfied with his work. Then I got myself a Sutter County Library card (I haven't had a library card in years), checked out two books, Naked Baby and Sheep Sleeps. While I was doing this Ashton was acting like he was on the computer like all the other kids. We had a good time, and I hope to go back every Wednesday, and the best part it is a free service for Sutter residents, woo hoo!!

"Who Is On The Phone?"
Sunday afternoon rolls around and Daniel picks up the phone and the voice asked for me, "who is it" I say, "Erin from the Mom's In Motion Group". Oh dear, I am thinking maybe I shouldn't have been so blunt, cause now I have to speak to this women.
To sum up the call Erin gave me a sincere apology followed which an explanation of how this happened. The group is new to the Meet Up scene and she doesn't check it as often as she should, so she didn't see that I had RSVP for it, so she didn't know to look for me. She also said the same thing happened to her at her first Mom's play date, so she knew how it isto feel so intimidated. She also said I noticed you changed your RSVP for the valentines party, I would like you to come and see how are group really is. We are a great group of women. So with this all being said I apologised for the harsh review and said we would be glad to try it again.

Mom's In Motion Gone Bad
Mom's In Motion is the other mom's group I wanted to check out. I had tried to go to a couple of the play dates before the meet and greet but someone always got sick which meant no play date, ugh. Anyways on Friday morning at 10 in the Mc Donald's play yard was a play date, so the boys and I rushed out of the house to get there on time. We were there at 9:50 so that I could pancakes for Ashton which he loves. I started to feed the baby his breakfast, Ashton is eating, 10:15 rolls around and finally someone shows up. Then a couple more trickle in, so it is about 10:30 now and no one as approached me. Now some may have gone over to the small circle of women but me, I was a little intimidated by the situation. Not only that but the organizer knew I was coming, I had RSVP on the meet up site, my profile has my picture and everything. The organizer doesn't have a picture of herself so I didn't know who she was, just a picture of her baby twin girls. So at about 10:40 after talking to Daniel and explaining what was happening I decided to get up and leave. Right before I left I called Teresa who is the organizer of the other group I am in and told her what was going down. She said to just come and play at her house for a while. So we walked out and went to play at Jake's, we had fun. I went home and sent in my rate your play date email, and let me tell you I was very honest and expressed what I was feeling very clear, so there was zero confusion. I later that day pulled myself off that groups roster.

Learning To Communicate
Ashton learns at least 4 new words a day. He is constantly coming out with new stuff or building on stuff that he already knows. Here are some adorable examples, dirty, he knows what content to use it. He will be holding up his night night and say "dirty", smell it, make a face and then say "wash Mommy, k?". He always firms up what he was saying with a "k", he will say k as many times as it takes until you say yes or no. If you say no, he then will say "why", in the sweetest hard to say no to him voice. Then he will tell you "come on" and lead you to his room where you will find his shoes to go "oside". And if he is feeling hungry he will say "hot dog make Mommy", he LOVES hot dogs of any kind. When we are getting in the car and I say "who spilled cereal all over" he will answer "sissy did that", or who gave you juice "Daddy did that". When he is locked out of a room he will stand at the gate and say "get out", "nuggle Daddy". While driving in our wee gross town we will come to the one stop light and he will see me turning either left or going straight, he will point right and say "no that way" towards Yuba City. I am so entertained and amazed with what he puts together, I like this part of the two's.
Happy Birthday Lala
Dearest Mommy,
I am writing this letter because I am not as organized as I would like to be and didn't send a card soon enough. However, I wanted to make sure you know how special you are to me on your birthday. First I would like to say that I wish I was there to celebrate your fifty third birthday with you, however I know that you are surrounded by people that adore and love you, and that makes me feel better. You have so many talents and qualities that I can only hope to have as I keep getting older. First of all you are the BEST hosttess I have ever seen, no one can even get close to compare. I hold myself to a very high standard trying to be like you, and someday with practice I hope I can. You are the best cook I know, every where I go you are the standard that I compare too. You are a strong woman, you know what you deserve and will fight to make sure you get it. I mean you are married to the most stubborn man I know, and you don't back down if it is something you believe in, and I respect you for that. You have instilled in my a honesty that surprise people in my life. I can not tell a lie not even a small one, so even if I get in trouble or hurt someones feelings I will tell the truth. If you don't tell the whole story it is a lie, I remember you saying that, I feel like this is one of my best qualities that you have instilled in me. You have love me unconditionally, I have disappointed you and hurt you, yet you still love me, and more and more as time goes on. Over the years of my adult life you have become my best friend (and I only have 3). I know that you will always say what is on your mind no matter if I don't want to hear it, because you truly care about me and my family. I can celebrate happiness with you and know that you genuinely feel the same as me. When I am sad, you feel my sadness, only people that truly love one another can do this. You have put a roof over my family's head when I couldn't, you have fed my family when i couldn't, you have provided material things that I couldn't. You are the best grandparent to my kids, yet you are the furthest away. Today I want you to feel good, you have done an awesome job as a Mommy, La-la, mother in law and wife. I love you SO much. I can't wait till I can join you and Lana in all your adventures in South Dakota. Happy Birthday Mommy.
P.S. Thank you Lana for doing this for me. And you are lucky to hang with such a wonderful woman all the time, I'm jealous.
