Safety First

Can you even believe that they make this small of helmets, I'm sure glad, now all I have to worry about are his limbs. When he runs around with this helmet on he looks like a bobble head, it's pretty funny. However it might help with not getting so many booboo's.

We Start Them Young

I think we are going to start Jackson off early for the love of big boy toys. What;s funny is Daddy looks more excited than his mini me, lol.

Car's The Movie

So as most of you know Ashton has been in love with anything that has wheels or a motor for quiet sometime. A while back we showed him the car's movie and he wasn't really interested, but now, totally obsessed. Grandma Lisa and Papa got him a set of three of the Car's cars (if that makes since) for his birthday, and than shortly after that I put the movie on in the van while waiting for the girls one day, and now totally in love. It stays in the DVD player in the van and every time we get in he says "down" so that he can watch while I taxi the girls around.

Almost Bumbo Time

Jackson tried the bumbo seat today, we could only do it for a few minutes because he has such a big head to hold up. I'm not sure he will fit much longer because his little thighs are so big, hope so, this seat is great.

Caught On Tape

Our little baby was crying away (like normal) and then all of a sudden he stopped. I walked over to see what he was doing, and this is what I saw. I just can't believe it, two tuhumb suckers, oh well, nothing I can do about it.

Mystery Booboo

This probably looks like I am beating Ashton, but yet again I put him down for a nap and when I went to get him he had this on his nose. He didn't even cry, so I'm not sure when it happened and there was nothing in the middle of the room for him to trip on this time. Boys are so different, at least mine are.

Mommy Time

I was lucky enough to get some real Mommy time in today. I had my hair highlighted and cut, she didn't get to style due to my tardiness, oops. After that I went to get waxed and have a facial. It was a good five hours of just me, fantastic I have to say. A big thanks go out to Nicole for watching my two little guys, the baby totally screamed part of the time because of he won't take a bottle. She was a champ about it and never called one time, thank you so much, I am really grateful to have a friend like you. So I come out to my car and there it was a parking ticket, so I can add $15 on to that days bill, oops. Those Vacaville police have a lot of free time.

Lovin It

I just love working for Kellegg's as a part time merchandiser. I am really glad this has all worked out, it feels right.

What Can Make You Want To Vacum?

A NEW VACUM! My cheep little one pooped out, so I had to buy a new one. This is one of the only times that I couldn't wait to vacum. It works awsome, I actually feel like it is doing something, instead of just going though the motions.

Oh No, Not Another One

A thumb sucker that is, yesterday Jackson has found his little fat thumb. Just like Ashton his hand stays up on this face while he sucks the little thing. It is kinda nice to have something that he can soothe himself with but really can anyone say braces.

Picture Day Pretty

Kelsey had pictures today at school, she looked so cute I just had to take my own pictures.

Sunday Afternoon Fun

After all the trading on craigs list, we have decided that quads are fun for everyone. Last week Daniel brought home mine and since then I was excited to go out and see how I liked it. We had Ricky, Tyler, and Alexis join us at the Clay Pit in Oroville. I feel like I have learned a lot about how to ride just in one day. I know that I need a pair of gloves because my little hands hurt SO bad. Also the girls and I need goggles, the sunglasses just didn't cut it when Ricky is in front of me. We had a lot of fun, Ashton SO wishes that he could ride his own, he is obsessed with bikes and quads. After the trip was over Daniel noticed that no pictures were taken of him and he felt left out, sorry baby, next time. We all went to Grandma Kathy's for dinner, and a ton of laughing, when you are with Ricky and Daniel it is like the last comic standing, your lucky if you don't wet your pants kind of funny.

Circus Fun

A benefit to having the lube shops is that we get free tickets from the vender's for local events, this circus being one of them. We had six tickets which is one extra (for now), so we took our Uncle Eric along with us. The kids weren't that excited until the circus started, then they were totally amazed with all the stuff that was going on. I tired to get a profile picture of Kelsey with mouth open because she was so entertained by all people hanging from the roof. And Ashton cheering when everyone else was, he knew something cool was happening. Kirsten was sitting next to her Daddy enjoying the time with him. And my favorite was watching my brother watch my kids smile with joy and excitement, and then it bringing the same feelings to him. So sweet. He will be a good Daddy one of these day's. I was having a hard time taking pictures with my big baby that would not hold still in my lap. Most of the show I was at the top of the stairs in a suit balcony that wasn't being used, thank you to that usher for breaking the rules. We had a lot of fun, spent way to much on cotton candy and parking, but made some good memories.

Game Day

So we went to the circus last night and got home around 11 pm, I was wiped. I started work that day at 4:30, and had to work the next morning also, so I threw the uniform's and some work clothes in the wash and went to bed. Well what I forgot to plug the camera in to charge. So when I raced in the house this morning after work to get the kids and go to the game, there was zero time to charge it. Darn, I hate when stuff like that happens, oh well. Kirsten was great this game to, she had fun, instead of someone making her do it kind of attitude. She also got to perform her half time dance this week FINALLY. She was up this morning practicing, she was really nervous, but she did great. Kelsey did great also, like always you can totally hear her over everyone else. There was some hornet nest in the ground were we were sitting and Ashton got stung 3 times, and didn't even cry, I can't believe it. I didn't have any help this game, so the girls where really going above and beyond to help with chasing Ashton and baby sitting Jackson while I move to see them cheer. I am so very thankful that Kirsten for the most part doesn't mind helping me, she has saved me many of times. Thank you Sissy. Kelsey's team tied the game and Kirsten won hers, those little boy's really kick butt, Go Titan's .

Older Sibling Fun

Those of you that have an older sibling will have a flashback when I tell you this story, I know I did. We are going The Ringling Bros. And Barum & Bailey Over The Top show tonight, we told the girls and they were a thinking it was more like a fair, with a bunch of carni's. So we had to tell them there is no nasty rides, or games, it has clown's animals and stunt people. Kelsey said it sounds boring, whatever, you'll see, it is fun. I went many years ago with my Grandpa Paul, but the only thing I really remember was being able to keep my cool cup after my drink. So this morning Kelsey comes up to me and says, "Kirsten said that the clown's are mean to people that have Ke in there names". I look over at Kirsten and she has a smile on her face and is laughing inside. So I give a little giggle because it so reminds me or my brother Eric, and told her that was something her sister made up, and it is not true.

Never Forget

In memory of all that lost their lives on September 11, 2001, you will NEVER be forgotten. And thank you to all the brave soldiers that are still fighting for our country, I appreciate you.

I Still Have It

I don't want to sound like I am bragging, but I am a dam good worker. I was concerned that I wouldn't be fast enough anymore, but this was totally not a issue. It came back to me just like riding a bike. I got a lot of praise from new co workers and my manager, it is always nice to hear someone say "good job". The time away was great, however it was odd walking around by myself, I felt like I was forgetting something or someone. Not to mention, I will some baby pounds.

They Survived

The alarm went off this morning at 3:45, I was totally tired, but rolled out of bed. I was trying to decide if I should feed the baby before I left or not, that means I would be waking him up which seems totally crazy. Who wakes a sleeping baby and especially in the middle of the night. I decided to wake him up so at least he would have some milk in his little tummy for a little while. After I fed him, I put him back in his crib, nite nite baby. I said a prayer this morning, it must have, and it was answered because the little guy didn't really wake up at all while I was gone, and didn't even get a chance to get hungry, I got home right in time to feed him, thank you Jesus. Hopefully tomorrow will go just at good, I will be starting work at 4 am in Marysville, and will be off by 7:30 am. Nap time is at 12:30, I am tired just thinking about it.

Mixed Emotion's

I creeped into Jackson's room tonight after I put him down to take a picture of his sweet face. I will be leaving in the morning at 4:30 and won't return for 5 hours. I won't be there when he wakes up, the first time ever. It makes me sad just thinking about it. Even though I am excited to be alone, and have some professional adult time, I am so sad about leaving my baby. And also I am sad thinking about when he is hungry his Mommy won't be there to feed him. See Jackson still won't take a bottle, scary huh. He will probably exercise his lungs a lot tomorrow, poor baby. And Daniel, he doesn't do well with the baby screaming, bad combo, I can just hope for a miracle that he will latch on to that bottle. I have warned the neighbor, Daniel may need a break, and she is so sweet she said of course come get me if you need me. Another worry is leaking, I am crossing my fingers hoping it doesn't happen.

13 Weeks Old

I'm sad to say I haven't been that good about tummy time with this last baby. So as a result Jackson hates to be on his tummy. But we are working on it now, everyday. Jackson this week has fell in love, with his hands. He loves to look at them, lick them, and suck on them, I'm glad, it is entertainment for him.

Crazy Hair Day

It was crazy hair day at LOMS (Live Oak Middle School) today. Kirsten really wanted to spray her hair crazy colors, but Mommy is no fun and said no. The cheer league doesn't allow any of that, and last time she did it, we had a really hard time getting it out, sorry, I'm no fun. Kirsten thinks she looks Chinese with these tight pony's, lol, kinda.

Baby Jack Sad Again

Couldn't resist this sad little baby, don't worry he didn't cry for long.

Bug Fun

I saw Ashton messing with something in the hallway, he was talking about something and I wasn't sure what until I got up and looked, and I saw the little black bug.

Car's, Car's, And More Car's

Next to his Daddy, car's are Ashton's favorite thing in life. He has a good collection for a two year old. I wonder how many we will have in a couple years, lol.

Ashton's Shares His Sunglasses

I was doing some paper work at the desk and looked over when I realized Ashton was messing with the baby. This time he was being nice, he put his sun glasses on the baby and said, "ah, so cute". My heart just melted, he was being so sweet and genuine about it. I can't wait till these little guys can play and beat each other up, it will be so much fun.

Mommy Gets A Part Time Job

Yes that's right, I got a job merchandising for Kellogg's Snacks part time. I had been praying that something would post on the web site for Yuba City area, I kept checking it for a couple weeks, and late one night it was there. Amazing huh, so I of course applied. And to no surprise they hired me, at $13 a hour (the top of the pay scale for part timer's). So it is a huge pay cut from before but also huge stress cut, and that is what I was looking for. Some extra cash to pack away for something special or an emergency. I will be starting on Thursday, I am a little scared even though I am very over qualified for this position. It will be nice to get away for a little while, some adult time I call it, I have been with the baby for three months, it is time. But the question is, will he take that bottle for Daniel, we will see.

A Visit With Carolyn

While in Winter's on Saturday me and the kids went to visit my friend Carolyn. I met Carolyn at Same Day Service Plumbing when I worked there. I just couldn't part with her, she is a sweet country girl, she reminds me of my favorite Aunt. By the time we were leaving Kirsten didn't want to leave, she said, "the tree's and grass are so pretty in her yard, I like to just sit out there and enjoy it". Her house is very warm, it reminds me of Grandma's with chiming clocks, and her cooking is great. She had home made lasagna, salad, garlic bread and chocolate cake for desert. She is a great hostess, she sets the table and serves your food, like at a restaurant, but better, because she is so sweet. Since I have known her I have looked up to her, I'm glad you are still in my life. Thanks for having us, I enjoyed spending time with you.

Backwards Day

Kirsten put her close on backwards this morning on purpose, even her shoes. Her teacher told her if everyone participated they would get a pizza party, I'm glad Kirsten was one of them. I can't believe she made it all day with the zipper in the back, it had to have been riding up. She's pretty even with her clothes on the wrong way.

Titaian's Win Again

I wasn't able to get as many pic's and video's this week just because I seemed to be more stressed this game, but here are a few. Papa Wayne and Grandma Lisa came to the game this week in Winter's, I was glad they were there because I don't know if I could handle a Saturday by myself as of now. Ashton is an active little guy that has been experiencing some terrible two's lately. Don't let this cute picture fool you, he is only sitting down because he wanted a sucker.

Can't Wait

We have been anticipating this park since we signed the paper's in the KB office. Finally it is getting close, the equitment is all up, the basket ball court done, picnic tables standing, BBQ's installed, and tree's and bushes planted. All that is left is the grass. We drive by almost everyday to check the progress, we can't wait.

I HATE Grocery Shopping!

So ever since the little guy was born I have been petrified to go to the grocery store alone with all the kids. Target , Wal-Mart, or Old Navy all are fine because you can just leave or say you will be back in a second if the little people start to get out of hand. But not at the grocery store, you have a huge basket of food, some that will go bad, so if you walk out you have to start over. I normally try to have Daniel go with me, but this was one of the times he couldn't. So I bribe Kirsten to go with me and be the hired help and she will get a treat in return, thankfully she said yes. She had the baby in the snap and go stroller and Ashton was in the shopping cart, Kelsey stayed home (some days she is more work than help, and this was one of those days). We make it to the cereal aisle (about halfway) and baby Jackson starts, "OMG, please we are almost done, just keep rocking him he should be fine." He starts up again in the meat department, so I push him and he stops crying , then Kirsten pushes and he cry's. "You have to be kidding" , oh yes he knew the difference, we tested it several times. So Kirsten is pushing the 150 lb Winco cart, and she says, "it is just way to heavy, you are going to have to push Mommy", "OK let's switch". We are good until we get to the checkout, that's when I have the most fun. See since I have so many kids we need to save money by shopping at Winco, which means unpack and pack all you stuff by yourself, hate it , hate it, hate it. Kirsten steps to the next checkout to get her treat and I am moving quickly to unpack the cart onto the belt, while the baby is screaming. For those that haven't heard him cry, he is SUPER loud. An old Mexican lady comes over and try's to soothe him by rocking the stroller, for like 3 minutes, kinda weird, but whatever I keep working. Kirsten is a champ, she just is going as fast as I am trying to get done. While doing all this like 5 other people stop to comment on why they think he is crying, "he is tired"," he is sleepy"," he has colic", "he might have dirty pants", then the best one, "oh, you are doing a really good job". Since I was by myself the cashier loaded both the belts with my stuff, so after I paid people where waiting for me to get my stuff off the belt. I just really hate grocery shopping, the only good that comes from this is that we really empty the house of food, so nothing goes to waste. My step brother David was right, he would always tell me "the forth makes a huge difference", and I really thought it wouldn't , well I believe him now.

12 Weeks old

At the young age of three months Jackson knows that when Mommy is trying to get him to talk and smile for the camera you don't, you are to just stare at her like she is crazy. I got him to talk a little but nothing like he has been doing off the set. So are you wondering how much are little guy is weighing these days. I weighed him the old fashioned way last night and he was 18.5 lbs, not bad, a little over a pound in four weeks. He has slowed down some, thank goodness.

Daily Makeover

I found this web site http://www.dailymakeover.com/ messing around while everyone was sleeping. I actually like the bottom picture, what do you think, honestly? Some of the short hair styles make me look just like my mom, which of course is a good thing (love you Mommy).

Frozen Pea's...

are Daniel's new best friend. Why, well how should I say this, he got neurted, balls snipped, man hooded messed with, permanent birth control or the technical term, vasectomy. Yes it is official, I will not be having any more of Daniel's baby's, well really no body's baby (thank God). I will give him credit on that most men are to chicken to have this procedure done and would rather their wife's do it, Daniel thank you for being a champ. However it has given him a legit excuse to not pick up Ashton or the baby, not help with bath time or dinner, mow the lawn, change diapers, and well just about all the stuff he doesn't want to help with anyways. On top of that I have to be his "caregiver", like I have no one else to take care of right. What is funny is trying to tell the girls why Daddy is hurting, "Well, Daddy went to the Doctor so he could fix something, and now Daddy hurts". Makes zero since, but sometimes kids really don't need that much info, just any answer will do (I'm sure Kirsten will investigate and ask more tomorrow, great). And Ashton, it seems like his main goal since we got home is to jump on Daddy's lap, I have never seen Daniel move so quick to stop him. So for the next few days I will be hearing a lot of Call of Duty. And don't worry, I am on birth control as a back up, because they don't call me fertile mortal for just any reason.

Couldn't Sleep Again

So last night I just couldn't go to sleep, so what am I doing, looking at a bunch of organizing blogs, my favorite thing to calm myself these days. In the process I come across a blog, http://balancingeverything.com/ (now on my favorite's list). I look at the clock and see that it is now 4:30 and I need to make myself go to sleep, because small kids don't understand that Mommy is tired. So I save the page to my favorites so I can revisit it another day. When I wake up I realize it is one of "those days", a little baby blues, (I get "those day's" about once a week were everything makes me want to cry). So I go to get some therapy, I hop on that blog I found early this morning. There is a posting called List's! under the catogory booknotes and organizing bags in the organizing catorgory, so I read it, because I love lists and organizing. I am reading and laughing so hard that I begin to cry, and apparently I am getting on Daniel's nerves, (I'm not really concerned at that moment). It is almost like we had the same list, down to the wording she used. It helped me feel better knowing that someone else is experiencing the same things as me, well except the she is pregnant.

What Is In That Backpack Anyways?

So as I am just doing some snooping I mean cleaning, I pick up Kirsten's backpack, wow it is really heavy. I open it up to a gross smell, seven old lunches were the problem. You are probably thinking the same thing I am, "what does Kirsten eat at school?". And after asking her I still didn't get a real answer for why. Nasty, that is why I always go fishing in there room every now and then. If you have any recommendations for lunch's please let me know so I can try them on the kid that doesn't like to eat at school.

Kirsten's Sleepover

I don't know why I say yes to have more kids come to the house, I think to make up for all the time's I had to say no. I always tell the parents "it's ok really", then they say"but you already have four of your own" and my response is "as long as they are above the age of three I don't mind", some truth ,but not all. So Stephanie stayed Saturday night and Kel's had Makenna over, then Alicia came over Saturday afternoon and then both Steph and Alicia stayed the night, why did I say yes? Uncle Eric built them a fort the first night and last night I got the honors. I am an expert at this from all my childhood years of having all of Grandma's living under blankets. The girls had fun and finally pooped out at 1:30, than I hurried to get them all out of the house before 10 am. Daniel asked, "this isn't an every weekend thing is it?", "NO WAY" I replied. One of the things I always had growing up was a lot of sleepovers, so I don't want my kids to miss out on that, even at the expense of my sanity. Oh yeah, after Ashton saw that the girls had a fort and he couldn't go in it, it was a must to build him one also, so I did. But the difference between boys and girls is the boys get on the arm of the couch so he can jump in the middle of the fort so it all falls down. Ashton's fort didn't make it but two more times before I gave up.

Ashton Love's Pink

This boy love's to dance, and he sure is cute doing it.
