Kay And Mike Pic's

So they had some engagement pictures taken, however these are from Lisa's and a family friends film. Kayla the true beauty she is dosn't normally wear make up, so she was a little displeased with all the make up the artist put on. I think it looks great for the theme of the photo's. Kayla you are fierce sister!

Pit Stop At The Park

After the parade in we had some lunch and headed over to the park. This was the first time with all the kids at the park by myself, I felt like I couldn't watch all of them at the same time which totally makes me nervous. But we all made it home ok, thank goodness. Ashton was having a great time, and he even made a little friend in the hour that we were there.

Yuba Sutter Veteran's Day Parade

The kids and I went to the local parade in honor of all the soldiers that have fought and still fight for our country. I wanted them to know why there was no school today and realize what a special gift all the veterans have given to us as Americans. The family sitting by the curb brought tears to my eyes, I just couldn't even imagine sending my hubby away to war. It takes special people to be able to dedicated there lives to fighting for us. Thank you to all the family's and soldiers and God Bless.

Jackson Rolls Over

Jackson is offically a pro at rolling over. For a while is was by accident and that is what made it hard to video. This morning I went in his room because he was crying, he had his leg out of the crib and he was on his tummy, so I think the back to sleep isn't going to work that well now.

Ashton's New Thing

Oh dear, my little guy has picked up on how to tell on his sisters. For now it is really funny, but soon it will happen to often to be funny. So this is how it goes down, Kelsey will take a balloon that Ashton has. He will try to get it on his own but won't succeed. So he runs in the next room to me, " mama mama mama" he will say my name till I respond to him, as many times as it takes he will do. "Yes Buddy", he will turn and point to Sissy and say "Sissy loon". So in land of Mommy I totally know what he is talking about, Sissy took his balloon, duh, and he wants me to take care of it.

Some Video From Play Date

Swinging

Our little baby is now big enough for the outside swing, but that means Ashton has to upgrade to the big boy swing. He was ok with it after about 10 seconds of saying how cool the big boy swing is.

What Happened To The Fence

One day I walked into the backyard to find part of our fence about to fall over. Oh no, what happened, who did that, still not sure, but Daniel called and asked Dad if he could help us and put it back together. Thankfully he said yes, thank you Dad for always helping us. Ashton enjoyed himself out back helping Papa with the tools and nails.

Pooping Or Hiding

There are only two things that go on under the kitchen table, pooping and hiding a snack from Mommy. Someone left the pantry open this morning while I was at work, so he had acess to all the good snacks and he picked yogurt coverd raisens. He dosn't seem scared at all that I caught him, he said "cheese".

21 Weeks Old

I think he is getting more chunky, and I love every roll.

Brayden And Nichole Come For A Play Date

My friend Nichole and her son Brayden (just four months older than Ashton) came up from Fairfield so that the boys could have a play date. Just by chance did she happen to bring the same pj's that we had so we had to take pictures of the twins. Little boys love to wrestle, and it works better when they are the same pint size. Kirsten and Kelsey felt like they needed to dress them as girl twins. Some more wrestling, of course. The three boys just hanging out. Brayden just loves baby's, he couldn't stay away from Jackson. He kept saying, "he is so cute". Brayden wanted to give Jackson kisses all day long, and Jackson just let him, and the had to be on the lips.

Happy Birthday Kay!!

Out little girl Kay is now 19 years old!! She has felt more like a daughter to me than a sister because the age difference and the part of my life that I am in. But now she is a woman, and you can have grown up conversation's with her. I remember when we first met Kayla she was a little blondie and she had this cute little smile, (still does) so sweet. We still see you the same Kay, we love you and are behind you no matter what. Have a WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY in Georgia with your man (hi mike).

A True Bachelor Pad

Let me say this, Eric's house is clean and tidy, however it is still a bachelor pad, check it out. The living area. Have you ever had pizza in a bowl, we have, but only at Uncle's. HIS cabinet, the roommate has his own, but this is his. When I asked what was all the stuff in the top left hand corner was he said "it is all the stuff I don't like", I just had to laugh. The fridge, only the bare necessity's. Some entertainment at Uncle's, he is going to be a good Daddy SOMEDAY.

Present Pit Stop

We were in Vacville for a couple hours so we pit stopped at Papa house. Grandma was getting her hair done so we weren't able to see her, but Kirsy got to open her birthday gift's. Thank you Papa and Grandma, Kirten liked her gifts.

Happy Birthday Sissy!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU SISSY!! Kirsten I am so proud of you, you are growing up to be such a sweet, caring, compassionate and absolutely beautiful girl. I love you SOOOOOO much.

My Story Of Kirsten

Double digits, wow, is it even possible for me to have a 10 year old daughter. Kirsten has a very special story that she has never heard before and won't for many years, but I will share with you today. As most of you know I got pregnant with Kirsten when I was only 17. My parents (Dad and Lisa) had just got married and in fact were away on there honeymoon, it was the day they came home. I had told Daniel I think something was going on, I hadn't had a cycle for like 2 or 3 months, (I was very anemic as a teen, so this was normal). I insisted that he go to Long's and get a test, I wouldn't dare go in this small town and buy that, someone might see me. So we drive back over to Lisa, they weren't going to be home for a few hours. I run in and take the test. I remember staring at the test, thinking how can this be happening to me. This is not my plan in life, what the hell am I going to do. I walk with my head hanging low out to the car to tell Daniel. Disbelief, but at that moment, this was only my issue. I muster up some guts and tell my Mom, this has to be one of the hardest things I have ever done. At that time we had decided that abortion was the only option. It makes me want to cry just saying these words in my head now. I make the appointment and my Mom goes with me a couple days later to planned parenthood. I read all the gross forms that you have to sign and they call me in the room. First they want to counsel me, which I knew was going to happen and knew what I was going to say. They ask the question, "is this the choice you really want?" "No, I don't want to do this". From that point on, it wasn't just a "baby", it was my baby. I couldn't imagine them pulling out my baby and killing it, that is not what I wanted. A week or so goes by and we have a family meeting with Dad and Lisa, crazy butterfly's, I don't think I have ever been so nervous. They of course were disappointed in me for getting pregnant but were glad that I made the choice for my baby to live. And the bigger journey begins. I was a junior in high school, and I pulled myself away from everybody. I am now different, no one would ever understand. I even had to go to summer school for some freshman year classes I failed. This was so hard, I was six months pregnant and you could totally tell because I was such a small girl at the time. As I walked down the halls people would be pointing and whispering. It was horrible, I would never wish this on anyone. For my senior year I decide not to stay at the regular high school, and continue on to a continue-ation school in the ghetto of Fairfield. October 30, 1998 I stayed the night at my Dad and Lisa's, I remember waking to all kinds of pains while I was sleeping but didn't think anything of it. I continue to drive to Oroville with Daniel the next day to pick up Ricky and Tyler so that they can go to a Halloween party in Vacaville. On the way up there I start to time these "pains" and realize that they are regular, I did go to lamaze, so I knew what that meant. On the way back to Vacaville I stop in Live Oak (weired huh) and use a pay phone (who uses those anymore) to call my parents and tell them I think I am in labor. Many hours later, 7:00 pm we leave to go to the hospital, I am contracting 2 minutes apart. Almost 32 hours from start to finish I have a beautiful baby girl, Kirsten, 7 lbs. 1 oz., and 20 1/2 in. long. Look at her now, smart, funny, beautiful and she is all mine. I have NEVER regretted the choice I made, I couldn't imagine my life without her.
