Bishop Pumpkin Farm

We went to the famous Bishop Pumpkin Farm today to have some family fun and take pictures (Mommy loves pumpkin patch pictures). Grandma Lisa was taking the pictures (like always), it is hard to find someone that is more patient to take pictures of a four month old baby, a toddler and two sassy girls and there silly Daddy. Thank you so much Lisa, I have alot of favorites, this is only a few.

Sweet As Pie

Lisa took this picture right after we got home from the shower on Saturday. Jackson's little smile between his fat cheeks is so precious. Sweet as pie, just like Lisa, thank you so much Lisa for cleaning the kitchen and helping with the kids, you have no idea how much this makes a difference in the level of chaos in the house.

Game Day Without Mommy

The day started early (I woke up at 4 am ) worked a few hours and came home to get ready for game day. It also was Donna's baby shower so I really needed to have my stuff together. We made it to Lincoln just before Kel's game, our Papa Wayne and Grandma Lisa arrived shortly after. They watched Ashton and the girls for me while I went to the shower in Roseville (convenient, worked out nicely). I am so thankful for this, I really wanted to go to the shower, and seeing how much I struggle with game days it was nice to take one off. I did miss seeing the girls, Kel's did a new half time routine, but there is always next week. Ashton tested my parents all day to see if they could really handle a toddler going though a bad case of terrible two's. They made it, but were in disbelief that our sweet laid back Ashton could be so well, two. The shower was a lot of fun, and I met everyone in Live Oak after the game. Thanks you so much Dad and Lisa, I really appreciate your help this weekend, love you.

New Rules

The rules have changed in the Liese household. I was asking myself like Dr.Phil, "and is that working for you", the answer is our rules weren't working. "Mommy means business" as Kirsten now says, you better watch out or you will end up in the Jail House like Kirsten.

15 Weeks Old

Kirsten took this picture while I was away at work. I didn't get one for this week's growth picture so I am using her's, thanks Kirsy.

Apparently It Was Nap Time

I was doing my dishes shortly after I got home from work this morning and I turn around and can't hear or see Ashton anymore. Well my first fear was he got out the door, the safety lock falls off sometimes, scary. But as I'm racing though the living room I see a little piece of his nite nite in the kangaroo climber. I peek over the top and there he is sound asleep. I look at the clock and sure enough it was nap time, just like clock work. Oops, it happens now and then, but he had it under control apparently.

Sand Box Fun

We have had this sand box for several month's but Ashton was never been interested in playing in it till now. I think after spending some time in the one down south at the camp out he likes it now. But what a mess when we come back into the house, hand vac anyone?

Good Job Self

So as you read I have been trying to get some exercise. I was thinking last night, what if I walked the girls to school, it might work, we should try it, and when I asked the girls and they were thrilled. I had to wake up at 6:45 to get dressed and freshen up in case I have to talk to someone, get Ashton ready for the world, and feed the baby. The girls were doing there thing and the plan was to leave by 7:50. We were close, we walked away from the house at 7:57. We made it to Kelsey's school at 8:07, ten minutes not bad. Then the long haul to the middle school, Kirsten was there at 8:24, school starts at 8:28, not bad. I was walking at a brisk pace, the kids shared the scooter so it wasn't that bad. I am going to try to do this until the weather doesn't allow me to do so. Ashton was enjoying the walk, he didn't talk the hole time and the baby fell asleep. I want to pat myself on the back for actually doing it and not just thinking about doing it, "good job self, I am proud". I clocked it and it was a round trip of 3 miles, nice.

2006 Pumpkin Patch

These pictures were taken by Grandma Lisa a few days before I went back to work in Octoer of 2006. Ashton was 7 weeks old, I forgot how small he was compared to my chubba wabba I have now, he was so sweet. I have always loved the fall pumpkin patch pictures, in fact I asked Lisa if she would come to Wheatland this year and take family pic's for me, we will be doing that this weekend. I am excited to see what great pictures she will get this time. These were only a few of my fav's, it is always hard to pick.

That's How They Do It

So for a while I have been wondering how Donna and Teresa get there blogs to date back, I just got it, post options. I am so excited about something so lame, pretty bad huh, anyways now you won't know when I miss a day Dad and Rick, lol. I'm glad you visit everyday, it makes me feel like all my work is being appreciated.

Think Small Jeans

I bought this jogger off Craig's list for $60. I really want to make it part of my daily routine to exercise to loose some baby weight and because my mom told me too (mom's know best right). The only challenge will to go after I get off work in the morning, I am usually tired because I get up before God. I just need to think about how much I really want to wear small jeans again, lol, we will see how this goes.

Can Mommy Do A Cart Wheel?

The girls have been trying to learn how to do a cart wheel and asked if I could show them how. At first I was totally scared to even try it, it has been so many years since I had done one. So after thinking about it for a while I thought I would give it a try. I can still do it, I was surprised honestly that I didn't hurt myself.

Not Cool

Saturday morning I wake up and can't go back to sleep, and the clock says it is only six thirty. All my kids are asleep and I am totally awake, why, I think it might have to do with getting up at 3 and 4 am for a week and a half, and my body has gotten used to it, great.

Cousins Camp Out

Aunt Teri put on a Cousin's Camp Out this weekend so that all the second cousins could meet and play together. The kids had a lot of fun and it was great to see everyone. We got in town to late to stay the night for the campfire and the sleeping in the back of the trucks, but we arrived early the next morning. We had blueberry pancakes and bacon for breakfast, chocolate chip cookies for a mid morning snack, and after looking for bugs and frogs at the pond, it was burgers and dogs for lunch. Lacy headed up all the big kid games on the grass, red rover, telephone and tag were the big hits. For the little guys a sand box, play ground and freezing slip in slide (Ashotn's favorite). It was a weekend of 30 lb diapers since Ashton wouldn't stay out of the water, oh well, what can you do. Daniel wasn't able to come with us due to needing to go to work, so I asked Papa Wayne to come and help me. Thank you Dad, you made my life so much easier. We stayed at Grandma' s the rest of the weekend, I wish I could have stayed longer, a weekend is just never enough time.

14 Weeks Old

Jackson is almost laughing out loud, I can't wait.

Mail Man Mail Man...

I totally remember doing all these clapping games as a kid, they are still around. Excuse the bad lighting, but I can't ask them to do it again or it wouldn't be the same.

Just In Time

My garden experiment was going good until all the plants got a spider mite. It slowly killed them but I did save the pumpkins. I have to say it is kinda cool knowing that I grew these in my backyard, and four of them, one for each kid.
